Is there any value to the New Age?

The whole thing is of course unscientific, but that is hardly a relevant criticism of a religious movement. What I find frustrating is that it is all so vague. There does not appear to be any discernible consensus as to what is true or false even in a purely spiritual sense, or even as to whether such concepts as "true" or "false" apply. The imagery is all nice and soothing, but is there anything more solid than that to it?

Delusion is the antithesis of growth. Materialism is born in the gap where inspiration has been excluded. Where there is pain, insight cannot thrive.

The joke being that one can easily see Deepak Chopra or someone like him writing every meaningless sentence above.
