I did a google...you know...out of curiosity. How many Americans have died from Covid vaccines? The answer is 3...all due to blood clots from the J&J vaccine.

Now...there has been just over 5200 deaths within a week of receiving a vaccine. Every single case has been looked at. None of those deaths have been due to the vaccine. Zero.

So 3 deaths...due to a vaccine no longer used In the US...out of 320 million vaccines given. These facts are easily obtainable.

Same shit as widespread voter fraud. Republicans believe anything...

There are many reasons people of color, military personnel, Republicans, pregnant and nursing moms, and healthy young people are choosing not to get vaccinated or have their kids vaccinated. It’s not just fear of death from myocarditis. In fact, concerns about that are fairly recent. There are many other perfectly understandable reasons for declining:

1. For a huge percentage of people who have gotten the mRNA vaccines, they non-fatal side effects are unpleasant, especially after the second dose. Even Vaccine Karens know this. Many people prefer to avoid feeling like shit for a day or two. Many are concerned about missing work. It’s true that Covid can also have unpleasant side effects, including hospitalization or death if you’re obese or old, but if you’re young and healthy, or have had prior infection, not getting the shots is a perfectly reasonable choice.

2. Somewhere between a third and half of the US has acquired immunity from prior infection. Roughly 35 million positive tests, and estimates are that undiagnosed infections are 4 to 7 times higher. The Delta variant spreads faster but is not resulting in higher hospitalizations or death rates, nor does it appear to be significantly more vaccine resistant. It’s likely accelerating herd immunity through natural causes. Vaccine Karens don’t like talking about this.

3. Covid is not a serious risk for children and young healthy adults. Some of the Vaccine Karens hate this fact.

4. Many people, especially people of color, don’t trust the information coming from public health agencies and government “experts.” Can you blame them? The distrust partially stems for US government experiments using Blacks as lab rats, but it’s not just that. The lies, misinformation, erroneous assumptions, flip flops, convoluted messaging, and overall incompetence from the likes of the WHO, CDC, and Dr. Fauci has been monumental.

The Vaccine Karen syndrome is not data-driven. It’s emotional. They feel virtuous because they got their shots (some even announced their virtuous sacrifice on social media). It bothers the shit out of them that some people don’t share their fears and frustration. Many of them are or were Mask Karens.

To all you Karens, I say stick to your guns. Stay isolated, angry, and afraid. The scary Delta is coming to take you away! 😂

1. Dumb excuse to avoid responsibility to public health
2. Some studies have shown 85% increase in hospitalizations due to Delta.
3. The original covid strain cannot be compared to variants.
4. People don't trust their doctor because they read the same bullshit you spread on the internet. This is not the same as to say whether they SHOULD trust their doctor

The risk of the virus and mutations of that virus changes daily, yet you idiots continue to give irrelevant statistics such as "survival rate" or "death rate", to obfuscate someone's ACTUAL risk. Taking the population of the United States and dividing it by the deaths from Covid that have been reported DOES NOT accurately describe anyone's risk, in the slightest.

Your individual risk is determined by your immunity response, your community spread and your underlying health conditions. All of those factors can completely change your risk and that of those around you. Diminishing data surrounding new variants is not helpful.

1. Variants develop with mutations. Mutations are more likely to occur as more people become infected. They did not develop in any relation to the vaccine.

Look, I am basically a lurker here on this forum. I only registered months ago but have been around as a guest for quite some time. I rarely post too.

That being said, as I browsed thru the Politics forum I came across this thread and decided to read the comments which brings me to this post.

Something appears to be wrong either with the VAERS data or Google. The VARES data just posted for this week and there were an additional 2k deaths reports from the vaccine shots. The death count, per VAERS is now at 9k. VAERS is also reporting over 15k adverse effects that are above the sore arm or slight fever. Europe is also reporting from their official site of over 11k deaths. The EU is also reporting over 3k deaths all attributed to the vaccine shots. The vast majority of these deaths have all happened within 72 hours of taking the shot.

Not sure how Google's research came to those conclusions since with any of these deaths reported to VAERS in takes some time to investigate properly.

The point here is that at this point we don't know for sure but this is what our own government site, VAERS is reporting. The CDC also did a study on the reliability of the VAERS reporting site and found that it was only reporting 1-10% of adverse effects of any vaccine. So, you do the math. If it is being under reported by 90% at a minimum, there are far more deaths and adverse conditions than even VAERS is reporting. Everyone I know that has been vaccinated has suffered with some sort of side effect. None, and I repeat none have been reported by their doctors to the VAERS site which leads me to believe that this lack of reporting historically is widespread.

I am still in a wait and see mode. I am in no hurry. I personally want more data before making any decision that could have negative outcomes for myself.

I do not know your personal beliefs on Dr Peter Mccullough but he is one of the leading authorities on the anti vax position which he only changed his mind on some 2 months ago. He is the 3rd most published doctor in the U.S. with over 600 articles published. He is the editor of I believe 2 medical journals and has spoken to our own Congress on 2 occasions specifically about Covid. So, he is not some fly by night or tin foiled hat kook or at least I do not think so. He is not an anti vaccine MD but for this vaccine, he has changed his mind and now no longer recommends it in his practice.

Anyway, here is a link to a very good interview he just did with some media from Europe. It is a very easy interview to follow and he lays out his position quite well along with explaining the current data "He" is seeing. If you have the time, you might watch it to see just where many non vaxers stand and why.

It basically comes down to a choice. I can, and do encourage second opinions on medical procedures. The non vaxers like myself have taken that second opinion for now and will sit this out until more data flows in. I am not going to castigate anyone for taking the vaccine since it is your choice. Right now, given the data at hand and that which is coming in on a daily and weekly basis points to many issues and until those issues are resolved, I will take a seat.

Excellent post. I got vaccinated because I’m in the age range where most serious Covid cases are concentrated. The day after the second dose sucked, but other than that everything was fine. That said, I respect the prudent choices of others who want more thorough and more accurate data.. I’ve been reading a bit about the VAERS reporting issues as well.

You make the ASSertion that there is a political leaning of all those that choose to not get injected with the Trump "warped speed" vaccine. The fact that Trump broke all the records for getting a vaccine rolled out and available would make it seem unlikely that Trump supporters also know as conservatives are not getting the vaccine because of something coming from conservatives.

It is a really odd notion and if true it would be very puzzling. So far I have not heard ANYONE (right or left) telling people to not get injected. So, is this just something you saw in fake news and are now regurgitating it for your buddies on Literotica or do you have a source?

The problem with VAERS is that people believe it's an accurate account of vaccine reactions. Yet incan report that I died tomorrow and their count goes up by one.

Shall we do some basic math? Always fun. 390 million vaccine doses given. Divide the erroneous number of issues Republican retards cite as fact...by that number...390 million. Then, compare that percentage to the number of covid deaths IN THE LAST WEEK ALONE. Which is larger?
