"When I went over to the tank in the Pentagon when I was first was elected vice president with President Obama, the military sat us down and let us know what the greatest threats facing America were, the greatest physical threats," he said. "This is not a joke. You know what the Joint Chiefs told us the greatest physical threat facing America was? Global warming.

"There will be significant population movements, fights over land, millions of people leaving places because they’re literally sinking below the sea in Indonesia, because of the fights over what is arable land anymore," he added.

This is lazy reporting. This is stenography.
A reporter would take note of what Biden said, which was obviously a lie, and would track down members of the Joint Chiefs and other high ranking members of the military when Obama was first elected and ask them if Biden's recollection was correct.
I will guarantee there was not a general or an admiral, or a top official in any of the intelligence agencies, who thought climate issues were a more significant threat to U.S. security than China, Iran, North Korea or Russia.

What happens when there isn't irrigation water for crops and food prices soar or beccome unavailable, and that is in the US? Imagine if this is global.

As far as Global warming being a myth, tell that to England and Europe where they had heat waves they have never seen before, Australia that has had massive droughts. Individual events mean nothing but when you see the craziness we have seen globally, where you are getting once in a hundred year events every year, you have to be a fool to deny it.

And again, imagine when countries are fighting over basic resources like food and water, when instability becomes the norm. If revolutions happen in South America, you don't think that threatens the US?
