Yesterday, I published a story based on a thread in the Story Ideas forum

I've often wondered while perusing the Story Ideas forum, "Do any of these ideas get turned into a story? Or are all these people just wasting their time?"

One day, I read a thread in the Story Ideas forum entitled, "Mom and Step-mom compete for son". Based on the discussion, I got a complete, detailed plot in my head for a story. I published it yesterday, "My Mom Competes with my Stepmom". It's doing very well.

So at least one idea from the Story Ideas forum got turned into a published story.
