So the dumbass condo Unit owner at the end of our building didn't turn the heat on in the vacant unit and it flooded .. Whilst I have no water damage from their fucking pipes busting.. To turn off their pipes they have to shut down the water to all 4 of the units in our building.
This will never end
Shouldn't have to pay rent for the time without water because of their mistake. Talk to a lawyer
Edit: oops...I just saw condo. Scratch what I said
Wow..****ss Martin died. Crazy
Uhhh. It blocked out the first name for some reason. Who?
That is weird. Russ a dj here in DFW foe decades. Someone i knew and im just in shock
So shocked people havent popped in here w their opinions of the Abbott lifts next week.
My opinion is that it’s premature and he’s an idiot for doing so.
Lifting the mask mandate I don't really understand but opening the businesses I can understand. Hopefully the businesses that do open will do so in a safe way.
At least it will get more people back to work that are suffering without jobs right now.
It is a mixed bag for me.
I was exposed to Covid and we were 6 ft apart and both wearing masks. For one day. I got Covid.I have cared for MANY COVID patients, have seen the ugly side of it and the not so ugly. Last week I cared for 5 intubated COVID patients.
I wear a mask for other's safety; not my own.
While the state mandate is clear corporations still have the ability to implement rules regarding their business; meaning, many still may require you to wear a mask. I think it will be a long time before you see everyone walking around mask-free and I suspect I'll be wearing an N-95 for at least another year.

So apparently, elected officials in Texas didn't think they killed enough people with their energy fuckup 2 weeks ago, now they're asking the state's residents to hold their beers while they open everything up?
In Maryland, we still have a mask mandate, and where I am, lots of people complain, but they have to wear them. You just can't really help stupid, so that's why we have laws, otherwise people will just do idiotic things.
What's it like in Texas now? Masks work best when everyone wears them. They keep you from unloading what's in your throat, mouth, and nose on my face and me from inhaling your grossness. Will there be any repercussions from these bad decisions, or do Texans really not care?
*snip*
I got my first shot yesterday and have already scheduled the 2nd one. Looks like ill be 11 days in for opening day!
Ill be working it looks like.
