Why Oh Why do people have to change my favorite product? It took me forever to find the hairspray I like because it wasn't a strong scent and didn't stick like glue. So it was gone for awhile and now it is back. It smells like a coconut and a rose joined forces.

I got hand sanitizer for Christmas! Who makes hand sanitizer eucalyptus and mint? Who thought that was a good idea to stink all day?

i bought hand sanitizer because it said 'fresh citrus scent'. it smells like burning plastic and is hard to wash off with soap and water. glad to know it's not just me.

I just let my hair go long and natural and wash my hands with whatever is in the dispenser.

For decades my wife, and her mother before her, swore by Smith's Cremolia as a hand cream.

The company was taken over by Boots of Nottingham in the 1950s but in 2010 Boots decided to stop making it despite continuing rave reviews in women's magazines.

Why? It was too cheap. They weren't making enough profit on each jar.

I toured around the county and bought the final three jars in the whole of the SE of England. But now those have been used and the more expensive substitutes just aren't the same.

I, and hundreds of others, wrote to Boots complaining. The standard response - the product is not appropriate for the 21st Century (but it was for most of the 19th and all the 20th!).

For a hand sanitizer I just got a tupperware container, threw a wash cloth in it, and saturated it with 91 % alcohol. Cut out all the middlemen.

Coffee...I don't care if my coffee has a fruity notes or a chocolate after taste or hints of cedar or this one has been roasted for 6min 32sec for the optimal flavour...I just want a hot cup of strong black coffee.

As long as it is vaguely brown and tastes like coffee - I don't care. I don't have a fetish for coffee. Any old muck will do but don't charge me stupid prices for it. A pound is my limit or I feel ripped off...

i feel your pain :) not that i use hairspray; for me, it was a shampoo: Pantene curl perfection. it really was the best for my hair and then they stopped selling it, bringing out a ton of other types in their brand, none of which suit my hair at all. just checked online and under where to buy? zilch :(

Where do you live if you can't get or make a classic medium roast Arabica brew, i.e a standard black cuppa?

If I go to Timmies or McDonald's or Starbucks or wherever it's like Russian roulette, one time it's good coffee and the next it's crap. Have to stick with home brew.

I mean quality is one thing. But you can always order one, right?

I know this was an old Denis Leary standup bit from the 90's, where he couldn't get coffee flavored coffe. But I've never had a problem w that. Even in the uncultured west.

Why should I pay for it when I can't tell the difference from instant?

I usually ask for an Americano with cold milk if the range is large. But transport cafe brew hits the spot just as well. Up Nescafe original!

But never Camp - that isn't coffee. That's sludge.

NOTE: New Improved Bottle (but NOT contents!).

That's one of the few things I hate about the South; the proclivity to add chicory to coffee...

Redneck Starbucks.

Instant IS pretty much a brewed cuppa. Just like dry pasta is pasta.

Not a great one, but the end result is technically the same, and some brands are pretty ok.

Always keep some instant in the freezer as a backup.

If the power goes out, you can always boil water in the fireplace.

When I order a coffee, "May I please have a medium black coffee?" Sometimes I'm in and out in less than a minute and other times it's a five minute ordeal.
