It’s times like this that really do tend to show the true character of a person. I have to say, I was actually pleasantly surprised and impressed by the behavior of a number of House and Senate members (and staff, and media for that matter). There were some who rose to the occasion... then there were the likes of Ted Cruz and Josh Hawley.
Also deserving praise is Chef Jose Andres, who always seems to be at the wrong place at the right time, for delivering 120 pizzas to the police officers standing guard at the Capitol after curfew had effectively closed off all other food options. Way to go, again, Chef!
