Absolutely. A Dom should meet the needs of his sub... just as she wants to meet his needs... and I dont know anyone who doesnt need to be held and appreciated. Ok... there was that one guy... but EVERYONE just leaves him a lone... so he doesnt count.

When you're not in a relationship, where do you go for comfort. Just to recharge?

I have a few safe places. Books, I just get lost in them. My side business of accounting, you have to focus so the rest of the world goes away. Contra dancing, since you have different partner each dance you can have a short safe fantasy.

Books are always a good place to get lost in. Coloring takes concentration, much like your accounting. Also, writing. I haven't written in ages...maybe that's where I need to focus my attention.

Sometimes I get hurt and I'll think, "I'm never going to trust anyone again!"

Then, I realize that I shouldn't live my life by the things people do or don't do to me. Just because someone is not trustworthy doesn't mean I should live in a shell...they won't change because of that. So, I'm just going to keep being me and be happy in knowing that I will always rise above.
