4) Getting a public message out that states exist for a reason, and that the Union staying a union is dependent on using those states to live and let live as much as possible.

In no particular order, these are my top issues as well!

Supreme Court needs to be reformed. There is no reason an unqualified wingnut should sit on that court for life. There needs to be a balance and I strongly believe in expanding the court.


As far as education, I definitely agree, and we also need to start treating educators as respected professionals. They should never be taken for granted, there is already an alarming teacher shortage across the United States. Fewer people are signing up to become certified. Money is one issue, but lack of respect is the elephant in the room. Having so much expectations of teachers, but not giving them the critical resources to execute such sky high demands is just foul.

I also want to add healthcare, our system is an abomination, we need to improve the cost of healthcare. Since the philosophy of establishment Democrats is to be, "the adults in room", "work across the aisle", and "bipartisanship and unity", nothing will be done of any significance regarding these important issues.

Only Republican approved legislation gets passed in Democratic administrations. Like killing Social Security to save it. Debt reduction on the backs of working people. Tax breaks for the wealthy. Increased military budgets without any accountability, etc.

Look forward to top Democrats crowing about how they are getting things done (i.e. passing legislation Republicans approve) through "Grand Bargains".
