Lame Duck L'Orange ....

Will he see the inside of a jail cell?

Whether they deserve it or not, a former President will never be prosecuted for anything, especially if it can be seen as political in any way. It will cause more too much of a damaging schism in American society.

Probably not. The rich and powerful all too often escape justice. Just ask Jeffrey Epstein (if you can summon his ghost).

He will go to jail for something.

He will do something so obviously stupid because he will think of himself as untouchable, like when OJ penned "If I did it : Confessions of the Killer", tht he will have to go to jail.

He will not be able to help himself. It is in his nature.

No ,the rich seem to get away with crime in the US ,but I will be ecstatic if I'm wrong .

I doubt he goes to jail, but he'll end up being levied some heavy fines for criminal activity, which the deadbeat bastard will never pay. His bigger problem will be the debt coming due, but he'll weasel out of most of that. But I personally think he'll be dead within a year. He's unhealthy as fuck anyway, and the trauma of being a fucking huge loser will eat away that tiny portion of his soul not already dead.

Take the Trump empire if it isn’t in debt and ship then off to his lover in North Korea
or Russia ..

Not worth jailing here

But shut off his Tweeter!!

Wasn’t the Ep-monster in jail? Maybe use Hillary and Bill as better examples!

He avoided real jail time for years. though, under a sweetheart deal with a Bush era U.S. Attorney who was later named to Trump's cabinet.

Like all other things, there is one system and set of rules for the rich, another for everyone else, but people still think that this is a meritocracy...yeah, right.

People like that usually end up in prison and we all get the last laugh.

If he was smart, he would spend these last days figuring out an escape plan.

Hypocrites like his apologists in here, would spit at a poor hoodlum who commits petty crimes trying to make ends meet, but would worship a rich thuggish conman so as long as he has an R in front of his name and the proper hue.

That's the kind of hypocrisy that is amazing, no wonder these inept rightists in here continue to get slammed.

Epstein was the exception that proves the rule. I imagine Trump learned from his mistake and will leave the country before he can be indicted. The only problem will be finding a country that doesn't have an extradition treaty and which he doesn't consider a "shithole country". I've got my doubts as to whether there is any such place.

Taiwan?

Of course, with Trump directing the GSA to coordinate with the Biden transition team, he has tacitly conceded the election. There is a decent chance that he might resign soon, so that President Mike Pence can pardon him. It would be hilarious if Trump resigned and Pence decided not to pardon him after all.

Likely no

Any jury is going to include multiple Trump voters. A prosecutor would need to convince ALL of them beyond a reasonable doubt that Trump committed a crime. Maybe some powerful evidence that has not played a million times in the media is out there that might change things. With the facts reported so far, I am having a hard time seeing a unanimous jury vote to convict.

In New York???

I could care less anymore than you
wanted to see Hillary in jail.

I remain of the opinion that the trial
was the election and the sentence was
removal from office*, anything else is petty
and very much un-American and the type of
retribution that would be meted out in the third-world.

* Or in Hillary's case, the denial of elected office.

As much as he SHOULD spend the rest of his life behind bars, he won't, because it would take too much energy, time, and political capital to make it happen. The USA has much bigger problems to tackle.

BTW, nice Rockefeller ya got there
