John Cassidy published an article in The New Yorker today, in which he referred to national GOP leaders as no longer passive enablers of Trump, but active co-conspirators. And he contrasts this with several GOP politicians at local levels, who are not such spineless cowards. https://www.newyorker.com/news/our-...mp-are-putting-national-gop-leaders-to-shame?
The signal these thugs are sending out this way, says the former "Grand" Old Party has to be disbanded in the future, lest America wants to go down the drain for good. Fortunately demographics will solve this problem eventually. But GOP majorities till then will do their best to maintain the status quo via continued gerrymandering.
As Obama states or implies so in his book in several places: how much longer will it take, until Americans will wake up?
