I have lots of shoes - for a guy anyway. Maybe 35 pairs? Higher quality ones, not including casual or sneakers/tennis shoes. I sometimes worry some aren't getting enough attention and wear.

As I see in some of the groups I am a member of, there are plenty with a much larger collection than me, but I'm glad my affection does not go that far.

Love this thread. A well tailored suit is to women what lingerie is to men.

I suspect most men really don't care about lingerie, but they buy it because they run out of gift ideas.

Lingerie can definitely be overrated. Not to say it's not nice to see your woman wearing it around the house - it definitely is - but when it comes down to getting frisky, give me some rope or leather

Maybe I would wear suits if I could find closed neck jackets. I thought of that years ago, but I did not find any. I bought one suit jacket because it's silk, but it hasn't seen a formal occasion yet.

Actually one of my least favorite jackets. Linen - and what I thought would be really light..it is not. Plus, all linen wrinkles to hell. So, I now only buy linen/wool blends. And seersucker. Looks wrinkled from the get-go (straight-away for those in the UK )
