Since we're hearing that Donald Trump is such a bad dude for using the tax code to his advantage, let's hear from an expert about how the other major candidate for president handles his responsibility to the IRS and his country. This is an excerpt from an Epoch Times opinion piece:

Joe Biden and his wife “used” American tax laws to reduce their tax burden. Keep in mind, Biden’s income was mostly the book deal fees, speaking income and teaching – the kind of stuff that requires ordinary Americans to pay ordinary income taxes and self-employment taxes.
The Bidens “reduced” their tax burden using two corporations: CelticCapri Corp. and Giacoppa Corp. The Bidens then paid themselves a “salary” on part of their income BUT “they circumvented the payroll tax on the nearly 95% of their income that remained.” As a business start-up attorney of over three decades, I have never recommended such a scheme.
In doing so, in that questionable manner, the Bidens avoided approximately $385,000 in Medicare taxes — and here is the kicker. The Bidens also avoided paying $120,000 in Obamacare taxes. You know, the law Biden and Democrats claim is necessary to save American healthcare. Biden literally, personally, defunded part of Obamacare — not exactly saintly.

consider the source

It is also known to promote far-right politicians in Europe,[10][11] and backs President Donald Trump in the U.S.; a 2019 report by NBC News showed it to be the second-largest funder of pro-Trump Facebook advertising after the Trump campaign.[12][13][14] The Epoch Media Group's news sites and YouTube channels have spread conspiracy theories such as QAnon and anti-vaccination propaganda.[7][15][16]

yeah, gonna take everything the epoch times has to say with a huge dose of reality to counterweight it

It's amazing how the board Trumpettes like to post stuff that highlights what a corrupt criminal Donald Trump is in relationship to anyone else.

Seems sort of dumb for a Trumpette to do, but, well, all right. :D

There is nothing wrong with minimising one's tax burden, as long as you do it legally. Trump clearly did not do that, and is probably too dumb to even realise that. The Bidens...well, if you've got a reputable source, I'm happy to look at it. Think about the boy who cried wolf here, too: after all that nonsense about Hunter, who's going to believe yet another slime job from the likes of you?

.
The Bidens payed 5.2 million in federal taxes between 2017-2018 and donated another one and a quarter million to charity over the same period.

Trump paid 1,500 dollars in federal taxes over the same period.

SAD!!!

You mean Hunter reported his "windfall?"

That's a false statement. Cite your source that Trump did anything illegal. Tax avoidance and minimising tax burden is perfectly legal.

You're not too good at analysis, are you? Pray tell why you think Trump is even now making a second trip to the U.S. Supreme Court to try to keep his financials from being seen by an active grand jury investigation of his financial reporting. Even his former lawyer has testified to Congress on how crooked Trump is in manipulating his taxes illegally.

You're not very bright, are you?
