In "April Enslaved", why does April's dad treat her different than her twin sisters?

Contact the author and ask them. They're the only one with the real answer.

I'm unsure if the author who published the story is even around, and I tried sending the author a PM but apparently that author doesn't respond to PMs.

That's why I asked here about the April story if April's dad treats April the same as he treats April's twin sisters.

Same author who wrote one my favorites of all time, Working Out the Kinks

I know it's how the author wrote it, but based on the three chapters, does April's father treat April the same way he treats April's twin sisters or not, and why?

Well, if you’ve read the stories, why don’t you tell us what you think? I haven’t read them, so I cant comment on them. I’ll just say that parents don’t treat each of their kids the same, because they’re all different people. If you’ve got one kid, who is timid and sensitive, and another who is active and impulsive, you’re gonna spend a lot of time encouraging the other, and trying to restrain the other so they won’t hurt themselves or break something, right? So I don’t really see the point of this question. Do you think he treats one of them unfairly, or is the character not believable in his actions, or what?

I read the comments on chapter one. It seems several feel this was a cruel rape story. That's not my interest so I will not read these chapters for your book report. Sorry.
