Texass continues to impede the election process.

Harris county is the biggest progressive oasis in a sea of toxic shitsludge conservatism. Suppressing the vote there by any means necessary is a requirement for the rapidly diminishing conservative minority to retain political power. If Harris votes in the numbers expected, Texas is in play and a "purple" state.

Fuck 'em!

They can get off their asses and go vote!

And bring some ID also!

Personally I am early voting...Lots easier.

If people that look like they will not live through the hour manage to drag their asses up there and vote, usually early voting so can everyone else.

I've seen people on canes, crutches & wheel chairs shaking so bad I don't know how they made it into the building! vote deaf, half blind totally confused my modern Tech show up to vote.

And you know people were as polite and helpful as the rules allow and praised them for doing it.

Both parties.

Poor babies. I guess they just won't be able to vote if they can't do it by mail.

I think the main problem on election day will be the same as Republican primary day. The polling people who check you in, give you a ballot and a sticker when you leave? About 2/3 of them never showed up....they're mostly old, obese white people over 70 with lots of co-morbidities. Prime candidates for Covid deaths. And when poll workers don't show up, the lines embiggen.

The new polling locations look like some cheap ass sci-fi plexiglass bubbles.

HeyAbbbottt sezs ya' gotsta stays home.

But we's ain't a sending ya's no ballotts neither.

Just get off your lazy ass and go to the polls and vote. If you can protest then you can go to the polls. If you go and vote early the lines are usually very short and you don't have to breathe someones bad breath.

Generally, early voting in person begins the 17th day before Election Day (if that’s a weekend, early voting starts on Monday) and ends the 4th day before election day. (EXCEPTION: Early voting for elections held in May starts the 12th day before Election Day and ends on the 4th day before Election Day.) Vote at a location in your political subdivision that’s close to where you live or work. All other voting rules and procedures apply – e.g., eligibility and polling hours.
