What is the death rate down to now, 2-3 per thousand? Roughly a little worse than what we experience from the annual flu outbreaks with the same vulnerable groups being hit the hardest. And the more we test the lower the death rate falls. So much so that the "science" is beginning to call into question the efficacy of the draconian measures certain politicians have either enacted or demanded be put into place.

As I've said before, this Wuhan Flu isn't going away. It's going to work it's way through the population just as any other flu/cold virus does. A viable vaccine, if one ever becomes available, will reduce the death rate and that's all it will do.....reduce it. And like all other vaccines it will bring with it it's own risks.

Brazil: 517
Iran: 239

Now, I'd bet there's probably some underreporting in Iran. Lots of rural and impoverished areas.

Spain: 613
Belgium: 858

Although they had big numbers early (at the same time that NY was a shitshow), and not at all the recent second spike that the US has had. In the UK, Spain and Belgium the powers that be has taken a lot of flack for being late on the ball and mishandling the situation.

Here in Sweden on the other hand, it's just... weird. Lots of fatalities that seems like they could have been avoided, but noone seems all that upset about it.
