More proof the virus panic is bullshit

What an outstanding post of stupidity....

Look within the post as I highlight a few of the idiot ideas, and be glad people of the USA that it just Trump's medocre stupidity that you suffer under, it could be worse....it could be Conager's....:D

There is nothing to "learn."

It starts off stupid, note the virus has only been around 8 months, but there is nothing to learn....

It's a fallacy. It's exactly like all of the nonsense about anthropogenic global warming. Yes man is producing a lot of co2. Yes it's a green hills gas. Yes it is argue oblique causing some portion of the warming that we are experiencing as we have been since the last ice Age. No, cutting carbon to zero is not going to control the thermostat. You can tell that none of those people are serious or every single one of them would be calling for nuclear power.

Can you say Spent Nuclear fuel, can you say Three Mile island, can you say holy fuck Nuclear power is the most expensive form of Energy out there....based upon the life cycle cost of a Nuke plant.

The virus is in the general population. If you lock down all you're doing is delaying the interval when you see the infections. Mask do not do anything but provide a false confidence so people get out, mingle, and spread the virus further. Which is fine- the virus is going to have to go through the population. It's what a communicable virus does. You can't put that genie back in the bottle.

Ummm guess all those hospital workers can toss away the PPE....

The virus isn't spreading from grocery store clerk to patron.

oh yes it is, you stupid fucking moron....

It's spreading the exact same way venereal diseases do...by close contact. You need to be up close and personal with an infected person for a good 15 minutes in order to get enough of a viral load to become ill.

and I am sure you have a study to back this up, or does it come from Conager volume of knowledge....

Just like venereal diseases everyone thinks that they know who in their circle has been where and is likely safe or possibly infected. The problem is no one actually knows.

Except you, but I don't doubt your knowledge of VD.....hmmm any guess's why?

What needs to happen is young healthy people need to be living their ordinary normal lives and staying away from people who are vulnerable who have comorbidities and the elderly. The elderly because as we age are immune systems become less robust. If we had simply avoided mass hysteria, and treated this just like you would and ordinary flu...which is- don't go out or to work if you feel sick and isolate the vulnerable people the same way you do to isolate them from nfluenza, this virus would have already run its course by now.

Ok care to list your plan for doing just that??? Easy to say something, it is also a lot hard to implement..

All we've done is prolonged things which is worse because the longer that virus is out there , the more widespread it is, the more opportunity it is going to have to get to the vulnerable.

The whole idea is to slow down the rate at which it spreads, so as to not overwhelm the health care systems. That way deaths are minimised....deaths from all sorts of things which can be prevented if you have spare ICU beds...not patients clogging up hospitals....

You can do a hard lockdown on the vulnerable for a month or two. You can't do it for a year

The above statement totally fucks up your "what needs to happen paragraph, but I will let you figure that out....

Americans are now not only unwelcome in most countries...they're not even allowed in anymore!

Go Virus! Go!

It is my policy not to respond to, "hoaxers/ deniers / birthers / false flagers". A waste of onez and zeroz... well, sometimes I do a lmao or an lol.

I just go with this... “I don’t understand your level of stupidity but I do admire your commitment to it. “

It pretty much sums it up.

I'm thinking that their"commitment" is to the Russian government, and by extension Trump.

This assumes Democrats never grow up and get jobs......or read a history book and find out communism doesn't work so well.

YOU jaF0, might one day grow up and get a job, or read history book of some kind too.

When do YOU plan on "growing up and getting a job"?

Or are you content to dither away your life sucking on the government welfare teat?

it's always funny when bobobaggins talks about history and then proceeds to wrongly compare democrats to commies.

or "Hitler Wuz Socialist" or "I am a liberal in the 1605 original definition".

BoBoGook is probably the biggest neo-Nazi on this board with his unrelenting support of Trump's concentration camps for #ThosePeople.

Then they should be expressing it as a percentage of population
which is a helluva lot less "scary" than just running seemingly
big numbers past an undereducated audience.

;)

Again, misleading unless presented as a percentage of population...

This is how you are being manipulated.

OK.

EU population 518 Million
US population 329 Million

That makes the US figures FAR WORSE than the graph.

Bwahaha! :D :D

Could A_J be a bigger moron?

Even after getting opened that badly he still just pictures and moved the goal posts.

Fucking tool.

remember, cap'n hypocrite sucks at mathmatics (sic). :D:cool:

The facts were there, but Boris didn't take them seriously: other EU country acted in a more adult fashion "I've been shaking hands with coronavirus patients ( with no mask )". America should have taken note: same virus, same dumb-fuck leadership.

This is a valid statement only when used in context with
the acumen that comes from 20-20 hindsight.

The time to set the world leadership straight
would have been in the weeks following the first news of the outbreak,
but I really cannot recall y'alls medical expertise at the time putting forth proper remedy...

The UK was short of PPE including any sort of masks. My neighbours were frantically sewing for health workers. The testing capacity was very restricted and could only cover SOME (not all) of those on the front line. We were trying to buy PPE from anywhere (and paid a lot for supplies from Turkey which were useless).

While with hindsight we should have said 'use masks' - there weren't any.

While with hindsight we should have tested more - we just didn't have the capacity to analyse tests.

Hindsight ignores the realities facing people at the time.

Everyone was.

It's called prioritizing and actual shortages
always take precedent over what-ifs just as
the actual outbreak turned the virus into a priority.

Government does not handle actual needs well,
asking them to prepare for what-ifs is somewhat outside of their purview...

;)

..., are we really prepared for floods of millennial proportion?

Do we have enough rescue boats on hand?

:)

What is the death rate down to now, 2-3 per thousand? Roughly a little worse than what we experience from the annual flu outbreaks with the same vulnerable groups being hit the hardest. And the more we test the lower the death rate falls. So much so that the "science" is beginning to call into question the efficacy of the draconian measures certain politicians have either enacted or demanded be put into place.

As I've said before, this Wuhan Flu isn't going away. It's going to work it's way through the population just as any other flu/cold virus does. A viable vaccine, if one ever becomes available, will reduce the death rate and that's all it will do.....reduce it. And like all other vaccines it will bring with it it's own risks.

Don't ya just hate it when the "settled science" is such a moving target?

So you're comparing a biblical flood to a pandemic that we were warned about? Repeatedly in fact. This is just more of the typical nonsense that you post.

Maybe we would have been better prepared if Trump hadn't disbanded the office set up to deal with a pandemic it the playbook that he refused to use because it came from Obama that would have triggered review and production of PPE etc. Etc.

Well some people settled and anchored their science to match their desired political outcome...

What about the people who don't die but are plagued by health issues from getting COVID? It's not"just like the flu" no matter how many times you repeat it, you moron.

I see that among certain segments of society the impulse to have witch trials is still alive and well.

*chuckle*

Hillary Clinton had a plan for that...

It was based on the Obama blueprint for Pandemic outbreak.

I'm sure zipperhead has a link to that.

You forgot the part about the USA having 4% of the world’s population but 25% of the cases....good job!

To clarify:

I'm sure leaders from North Korea to Cuba will assure you,
if they ever had the virus, their scientists have surely eradicated it by now,
because, you know, Capitalism does not work for the people; it just lets them die...

:nods:

To circle back to an earlier point:

Trump, as a Republican was supposed to have been prepared
for the pandemic that everyone knew was going to occur, but he's a fuckup.

Meanwhile, in the People's Democratic Republic of California
the annual wildfires are once again ravishing the state,
and even though the Democrats knew they were
coming, they did not prevent them and don't
seem to be mitigating their rapid spread...

Conservation at its best.

And note, they are Coronavirus-free,
because Democrats are smarter than Trump
(Republicans) when it comes to Public health and wellbeing...

:nana:

I see that among certain segments of society the impulse to have witch trials is still alive and well.

Ah yes, let's just forget about accountability.

Unless we're talking about poor people that is.

Why would we hold our elected responsible for the absolute shit show that they have caused?

But don't worry, the My pillow guy had a miracle cure.

If nothing else, the convention seems to have fired up zipperhead...

I wonder if he can keep the flames of passion fanned until November.

I really think he lacks staying power though...

And what is your point? The greater the extent of the testing the more positive cases are going to be found. Infection rate is one thing, death rate quite another. Point being, I didn't forget shit.
