I think it has good potential for mischief!

I've tried a few ideas out in the past but never got anything finished. There is a limit to how far it can go before as someone else said it's just like fucking a doll.

I think most of the potential is in creating and engineering situations. Once the time if frozen the protagonist can then manipulate the other players, removing or loosening items of clothing and then restarting time.

Also it has many voyeuristic opportunities, accessing other peoples sex lives. By being able to pause time it would be easy to follow a couple home, enter their house and hide and then freeze time again whilst the couple are having sex.

Spider Robinson wrote a short story set in Lady Callahans place about a guy who invented a watch that would freeze time.

He used the watch to put people in positions that would cause slapstick comedy situations. As he got bolder he would follow the ladies and their clients to rooms and put the ladies in positions so he could fuck them.

The Girl, the Gold Watch, and Everything by John D. McDonald (published in 1962) started all this. MacDonald was known almost as well as a science fiction author as he was for his many mysteries and Travis McGee stories. Paperback copies are running in the range of $7 to $35 on Amazon. It's also been made into a movie at least once. Considering he was alive in the 60s, this will still be under copyright for at least another 15 years and perhaps longer (I don't remember when he died and I'm too lazy to look it up).

With Pam Dawber and Robert Hays, 1980.

Also at least one Twilight Zone episode uses the concept, A Kind of A Stopwatch, 1963

And there is Arthur C. Clarke's 1951 short story, "All The Time In The World".

What might be more fitting for the OP's story would be along the lines of 'Mannequin' (1987) with Kim Cattrall where she alternates between fixed and live action:
