Mind controlling the controller

Does anyone know of any good stories that are set up like this, or would like to write one?

The idea: a person discovers they have mind control powers and decide to test it on someone they know (friend, spouse, lover, neighbor, sibling, colleague, etc). They end up going too far, getting out of control, or in some other way going overboard or having unintended sexual consequences. They're clearly uncomfortable with the result that they created, but go along with it anyway and end up satisfied by the end.

Eventually, we find out that the motivation and the powers themselves were originally, unknowingly bestowed on the protagonist by someone else with mind control ability - a naughty friend, a perverted bystander, a vindictive rival with vague but intact morals, or perhaps even the protagonist's partner/target themselves..

Lots of themes could work with this kind of story - exhibitionism, impregnation, B&D, swinging/swapping/infidelity, sluttiness/whorishness, incest, exploring sexuality, or maybe even a reluctant, romantic first time, to name a few.

I may still do so. I'd still be curious to know what others can do with the premise.

I've only written a couple of erotic stories before but I haven't posted either because I'm self-conscious about my writing. One was a fanfic which honestly wasn't very good, but I also didn't get good feedback on the other.

I think it's a terrific idea. A competent mind controller would totally be a able to simulate mind control powers projected unto a person of choice. Our main victim may realize at the end he never had the power, or remain delusional but powerless.

I still have a story in this nearly exact vein that I tried to get a volunteer editor for. Two students try out hypnosis to relax during their exam period. The hypnosis fails, though the relaxation helps. It becomes a ritual where they do this regularly, trying out a different hypnosis each time.

Then at one point it succeeds. It is all slightly wonky and out of place, and suddenly he has a sexual desire for her he never knew he had. After the deed the hypnotized woman helps him cover his crime, so she won't be any the wiser when she gets out of the hypnosis.

Though if you read between the lines you can see the wonky experience is because he flipped to a self hypnosis page instead, where she took full advantage of him being hypnotized.

I wrote a story with similar themes, but the reveal is that the hypnosis in the early part of the story takes place within the context of broader mind control that only becomes apparent at the end.

I'm sure I read this thread when you posted it, but I don't think my brain was in gear that day. I read it again this morning and now I see your idea. It's very cool. It's an rather extreme form of voyeurism. He grants the powers and gets to watch what they do with them. That's intense.

I like these three. A lot. They are the test subjects as this process is developed. A slutty pal, a guy in a theatre, the handsome young hot shot at work who's making him look bad.

This should be written.

Which is pretty understandable. The draw of abusing such powers would be hard to ignore though we know that it would be morally reprehensible to do so. But to a person who's never had much going for him and now has power at his fingertips, it's easy to justify in their mind.

But in the end, such a person shouldn't win.
