A scifi story where two aliens visit earth to observe human behavior, they encounter a married couple who are having trouble conceiving and believe their intent means it will save them human race. They are confused and think something is wrong with the wife as she is only having sex with her husband, on their planet the female mates different partners until impregnation occurs so they follow the wife everywhere she goes, using mind control to have her fuck every male she encounters, it wreaks havoc on her mental wellness not understanding this compulsion until something in her snaps when she realizes a man other than her husband has impregnated her and she becomes weirdly turned on by it. Might end with the aliens themselves fucking the wife, thoughts?

The movie They Live pops in my head and how the aliens used subliminal signage to induce behavior change. Perhaps your aliens use signs that read "procreate' or 'be fruitful' or 'just say no to monogamy' towards their goals. But, thousands of years of monogamy make it hard for most humans to obey due to generational conditioning. So, when one spouse seems to heed the messages and the other doesn't is where we get the conflict.
