Just the number of dead black guys known to have been murdered by another black guy, (never mind the no-idea-who-dunnit dead black guys in all-black neigborhoods) is greater than the number of murdered by whitey combined with all of the murdered by persons where any indication of the race of the perpetrators are unknown.

It's pretty simple: stack up all the dead black gang members in a pile and compare it to a pile of all the other murder victims that are not dead, black gang members.

Nitin Garg, an accounting graduate from India studying in Australia, was stabbed to death Saturday in the latest attack on Indians. Competition with Indian migrants for jobs in poor suburbs may be behind it.

What you're saying is that Maori's are SCRUTINIZED more heavily than other races.

That doesn't mean other races are committing crimes that go unnoticed/unpunished. It means that if you look hard enough and long enough, you'll find criminal behavior of one type or another.

The question isn't that non-whites are scrutinized more heavily than whites, it's whether non-whites "should be" scrutinized that heavily. The answer to that is based on crime stats. The police patrol where crime occurs. If that's Maori neighborhoods, then...

What I'm seeing as an outsider:

It WAS brutal racism.

The part about the policeman putting his knee on his neck instead of shoulder blades was mere incompetence. Which probably also led to similar accidental killings of the White/Asian people mentioned by Lance.

But the policeman manhandled the guy as if he were a disgusting animal. Even after he said "I can't breathe".
If I were Black, I would protest too.

I fear the Ferguson effect will affect our towns and cities for decades to come. Young men and women will just not pursue the career field of law enforcement for fear of threats and reprisals to themselves and to their families as well as the inability to not only protect citizens they take an oath to protect but now walk a beat with a big target on their backs. When mob rule is the determining factor for justice then we no longer have justice and no longer have the rule of law. One man was killed by a police officer and the response is to destroy cities and town rather than allow the wheels of justice to turn. The over response to our blue line is going to have negative ramification for a long time. Crime will go up, just look at Ferguson today, police recruitment is down and crime is up. IMHO.
