54 bags of pond stone laid in between meetings this morning. I WILL get this yard perfect before the grad party.
 
Bagged rock is about the most expensive way to get it. Truckload is priced less than $20/ton usually.
 
Yeah. I have 20 years in the construction industry. I understand bulk pricing. However I don’t have the time nor the energy to haul stone around and instead put the bags where I wanted them, cut, dumped, spread. It’s about conservation of my time and energy.

Thinking about the char siu pork belly I made last night. Fuck me that was good. Braised, softened up in the pressure cooker, and finished in the oven.

It was a hit. 10/10 and so easy.
