Apparently investors are anticipating good 2nd quarter profits now that the States are re-opening and people are going back to work.

A good second quarter? Second quarter is almost done. I highly doubt it.

Women, and men pretending to be women, haven’t been able to buy makeup for like 2 months, and people are going back to work. Beauty retail is a necessity in our modern world.

We are only midway through Q2. And, while I said a "good 2nd quarter" I didn't say it was going to be a "normal" quarter.

We all know what's going on and most investors know that Q2 profits are going to be lower than normal. That doesn't mean, compared to Q1, that it can't have a "good" earnings report. However, what most investors are looking for are signs that the economy is solid and back to work. If those happen in the Q2 earnings reports, then Q3 and 4 should result in higher GDP and earnings.

How many furloughed jobs aren't coming back? I have no idea if the WORKERS who were furloughed will return to work when recalled. That still doesn't mean they were FIRED. The JOBS are still there, but if the workers don't return, then they weren't FIRED, they QUIT.

How many workers were fired? I don't know and NEITHER DO YOU. Nor does anyone else. If someone makes ANY projections AT ALL on this, they're grasping at numbers with zero data to support it.
