"Reality TV" people say it's indulgent but I don't understand it. If I want to see staged pretty people I'll watch regular porn.

Probably it's subjective, but I think the majority of them aren't pretty either.

Ok I hesitate to even call these pet peeves but --
What thing annoys you even though you know it's so petty and unimportant?

I'll give an example!

I hate.... hate when people go in the Exit and out the Entrance. So dumb. So annoying.

And when people answer the PMs at the top and not the bottom. Sorry guys, that breaks my brain.

My annoyances aren't petty, damn it!

Mostly....Republicans.

<high-fives you as you run past>

Every so often my Keurig will only spit out about 3/4 a cup of coffee instead of a full cup. That annoys me far more than it should.
Also, takeout orders that skimp on the fries.

The abstract hatred of rich people. Whenever I ask people it is rare that they actually know anyone rich. I suspect most people do know someone, but don't realize it. Taht's part of my peeve. RICH PEOPLE DON'T DO THE LIFESTYLES OF THE RICH AND FAMOUS THING, THEY DON'T.

I will admit my own sample is biased because I grew up working class, but most of the well off people I know, started a business, worked hard, and became wealthy. That said, when I read the Millionaire Next Door, it confirmed my experience not the crap you see on television.

Pretty clear it's a peeve:)

When someone enters in a room, or office, and when they walk out leave the door open. Sorry, but the door was closed when you entered. WTF don’t you close it when you’re out? It drives me crazy. I’m like half of the time in the office shouting “Close the door!” 🙄

Omg... yes!!

I have a million of them. But I'll give you the first two that popped into my head.

People leaving drawers or cabinets open. Sort of like the door example above. HATE THAT.

People who share or quote articles based on the title and don't even read them. this happens mostly on Facebook and it annoys the hell out of me. Sharing missing pet reports that are 5 years old, as if it's new stuff that needs to be acted on. Really, people? Read the entire damn article, decide for yourself whether it's worth sharing.

When someone doesn't push their chair in when they're finished at a table or desk.
Hypocritical "christians" - so many coming out of the wood work during 'rona.
Navel gazers and self promoters.
Twitter
My "office" chair that wasn't meant to be used all the time....it rolls away from the desk over time and my back is killing me because of it.
Pasta cooking directions - it NEVER takes 7-10 minutes.

People who double-dip chips.

People who take the last of the coffee from the break room and don't make a new pot.

Sandals and socks. Pick one, motherfucker!

I always buy nice office chairs used (Steel Case, AllSteel Herman Miller, etc) They are often cheaper than the Staples special, are much nicer, and, though used, will last longer. The used chairs I bought for my little accounting practice are 10 years old, and still great.

People who ask how i am but don't really want to hear. I know they're just making polite conversation, i get that, I'm a big fan of polite conversation and other social niceties. And i get that there's a time and a place for everything, i get all of that - intellectually. But something inside of me still thinks it's dumb. :D

I adored living in Scandinavia where this isn’t really a thing. If they don’t want to know, they don’t ask.

HA! I know what you mean. I sometimes respond "I'm very bad", just to see their reaction and mess up with them. It's funny to watch how they get freezed. Don't know what to say. :D
