Morning Numie.Morning peeps. How'd the rugby go? I'm not much for sports except cricket.
I like that description of modern football, though. "Twenty-two millionaires kicking a pigs bladder around a field".
*waves to nick*
Morning Numie.
For a Wales born dragon the rugby was disastrous.
Love the modern football description.
Love cricket but not up to speed with it
As a participant I do enjoy synchronised horizontal gymnastics, preferably without spectators.
Hope everyone has a great Sunday
Probably just the idea, though I quite like the idea of spectatorsProbably just the idea, though
Unless they're joining in...

Oh dear on the rugby. Time to come back later in the tournament, though?
Hi Nick, hope you're not offended by my teasing. It's the usual thing, new environment, trying to impress the newbies ( probably won't work).
GEORGIE, welcome. Nice to have a few more ladies looking in.

Thank you so much for the welcome
I hope you're all sat down eating a good old Sunday roast now, a lovely bit of Englishness![]()
We have to hate the French, it's genetic. No idea about rugby I'm afraid, even with the best intentions we rarely got beyond the beer tent.
One of many things I could never suss out was why, when they bent over a lot of the time, did they wear the tightest shorts in the sporting world? Always a puzzlement....
Hello there, I hope you don't mind the intrusion (you all seem to know each other from old) but I read Englishness and Scotch and thought I could fit in here. I'm Georgie, nice to meet you all![]()

Im with you completely on this one, Bach.au contraire (and many many other foreign words in the English language)
I love France and the French. Wine and cheese (the stronger the better)
But when it comes to rugbi I support 2 teams. Wales and anyone playing England. (Oh I love saying that and English people that just don't get it... It's like some English people can't separate Britishness and Englishness. And I reckon therein sums up Brexit....
Wwweooooooooh! Did he just mention Brexit! Barely a page in and tramps been slagged off and Brexit won't die!

Welcome, Georgie!
Feel free to mooch around the kitchen!

Thank you MrD, is that man talk for make the sarnies and put the kettle on?![]()
Ooh...not had a Bonio in ages!
I'm a mutt who enjoys simple pleasures...and kindness
To be honest. Rugbi is the winner. I hate the French winning usually, coz they are as arrogant as the English (sorry but it's true... I fooking spit fearhers when Brian is on!)
But the French are a young team, they've come out if nowhere (you'dve hit great odds on them a few weeks ago) and the Scotts are playing physically powerful... It's great to have upsets. Keeps everyone on the edge of their seat.
Anyone into pugilism? The Gypsy was king reading the BBC report!
Bit windy out.
Bit windy out.
Between midday Tuesday and Wednesday, they predict we will get 4-8" of snow here.
I would like to request a transfer.
Bloody hell.
Here's hoping that - if it has to hit - it happens overnight.
There is a special part of hell for a blizzard that hits during work hours and stops you getting home!
