post pics

Seems no matter how I try to attach a pic.. the link is dead.. whether its from my comp, or a link to a storage site..can anyone give decent instructions please ? Thanks..

Are you using the url method or are you uploading the picture to the Lit server using the manage attachments section of the reply to thread page?

I'm thinkin' the managed section..the box that comes up on the left..says upload from comp or site url..?

Are you talking about uploading pictures to Lit so that you can use them as attachments to your posts or inserting images in your posts that are already hosted somewhere online?

If the picture you need is on the web, use the "insert image" button on the top of the window when you write your post, it is the yellow button with a mountain and a sun. Then just put address of your jpg there and you are done. Your code will look like this:
{IMG]http://images.com/123.jpg[/IMG]
(all brackets should be square, I used a different one in the beginning so you could see what's going on. )

Yep, that's it. Now, if you use that, the picture has to owned by you. If you got it from somewhere out there on the Web, unless you posted there, you don't own it. So lit doesn't want it on their server.

It's better to use the Url
