My understanding is that swinger venues generally will not go out of their way for a single woman beyond welcoming her warmly, declining to charge her admission, and strewing flowers in her path as she enters.

But perhaps someone more knowledgeable could chime in?

LOL! I agree with you Blase. That has been my experience in the USA, I was wondering about Australia. I have heard of sexually oriented clubs in Europe also and I was planning a trip to Europe this coming spring. Maybe I should change my plans?

I was planning on a trip to Europe because of the ones I heard about there and did not know about clubs like this in Australia. Love to learn more about both places and which countries have the best ones. Anyone know?

I only know about the one in my town from when the city tried to shut it down.

You might just do a search for "bdsm clubs (your town)" and see what pops up.

Very interesting. Work now takes me to Sydney 2-3 times a year, usually for a week at a time with weekend time. Have come to truly love the city, but it would be nice to have more social outlets while there.
