It's -12 here right now, not Fairbanks cold, but cold enough.

I lived in a trailer house at -65°F in the Fairbanks area when in undergrad school. When you have to put a heat tape on the fuel oil meter so it will turn and allow your furnace to get fuel, that's cold.

Yes, the front end of the car is evidently smashed but we can make
it home. I will call our insurance agency GEICO and submit a claim.

Of course. Everyone does.

Having seen many moose car accidents I call BS on this one.
