Swannie's Random Stuff

The benefit of the hotter weather is that the passionfruit vine on the side of the house has gone into hyper production, so its been on icecream, over salads, and into BBQ sauces, apart from just pulling one off the vines and eating it on the spot. We use a lot of fruit in main meals and salads for flavour.

The avocado tree is also producing very well. It and the one down the road cross pollinate so it stays in fruit. I usually pick some the night before then chill them overnight for breakfast or whatever I am making. Sometimes however, Henry the resident Stimsons python that has made his home in the tree make his way inside by hiding in the washing basket that I collect the avocados in. I suspect he might have been a pet somewhere and got out a few years ago. D#2 is quite adapt at catching him and taking him back out when we hear the cats going crazy at him.

The smell of summer in WA is being helped around the house with new soap that is made of local ingredients from WA and the Northern Territory. The Bush Tucker movement of using native fruits, berries and herbs is going well. The Ord River and Lake Argyle have huge sandlewood plantations supplying the world market.
The house has a lot of frangipani trees in the garden. They shade the gardens in summer and when they lose their leaves allow winter sunlight in. The small one out the back has just come out in its pink/red/orange/white flowers and fills the garden with coconut-like fragrance. We have giant white ones out the front with the typical fragrance, and tall pink flowering ones along the sides that are up above the roof line now.

I made it to 10:30 this morning before being forced to put some pants on. I would have preferred to go the whole day without, but there is a gaggle of girls coming over to live in our pool and eat me out of house and home. So here is my bum coming at you from the warm climates.

That's a lovely set of pictures. Enjoy the passion fruit. My neighbor's vines have grown into my yard and I keep looking at dozens of fruits that just want to be green.
Your bottom is exquisite.

So, something happened this morning. I went out Christmas shopping, took a short cut out of the parking area by hopping over a barrier and heard "rip". Damage check in the reversing area mirror just in case it was tucked away underneath where no one would see, but no, it was terminal for the jeans. On a no undies day too.

Scurried up the road like I meant for my arse crease to be out and thought the best strategy was not to go back home but to just buy something else. So I grabbed some knickers from one shop then popped into a dress store. I asked the sales assistant to collect the one I had and get me a size smaller, so this girl just waltzes into the changeroom while I was taking off the large one. Rather complimentary to be told your bum is posterworthy. I'm sure she says that to everyone. So one in the mirror while I was waiting for her to come back in.

And finally home again. Its 43C/109F for 5 days straight here so I am officially retiring from wearing clothes and you can find me in a swim bottom until tuesday if I absolutely have to wear something. If you don't like boobs don't deliver parcels to my door.

Holy moly. You have such a miss bottom.

Passion fruit and avocado whenever you wish, better than having to go to the store in the hope they may have some as we do. The only thing eatable in my garden are Victoria plums.

You can keep the snakes though, don’t want them here.

Hope you survive the teenager invasion and can get your pants off again soon. Lovely arse.

Passion fruit is a nice one to have around. The usual orange and lemon tree in most backyards and now often avocado. I would like a Yuzu citrus as well one day.

A miss bottom...I hope that's a good thing.

He's only a tiny python. He will give you a good bite if you disturb him while he is digesting something and is vulnerable but otherwise is good natured. The poisonous Joe Blake's are something to see when they are a couple of meters long. I haven't seen any in my garden but the Kookaburras sometimes pick up a juvenile and sit up in the neighbourhood trees to eat them.

"rip".

Vaulting over barriers may not be considered ladylike in your neck of the woods, but what a photo opportunity, twice over. and I don't think the assistant was trying to curry favour.

I'm a farm kid. You learned how to throw your leg over barbed wire fences and eventually get to a point where you don't snag your jeans/shorts/knickers too often. Not that that would have saved these ones I think. Obviously were a time bomb waiting to go. Not really a devastating place to happen, it could have been just about anywhere the bum overcame the denim.

Everything looks like it is in tip top shape. The soap and frangipani fragrances over the garden must be wonderful.
I saw from the cricket summary that there were large bushfires out of control in the heat close on the outskirts of your city. I hope they are not too close to you. The smoke was making very red sunsets on the camera outside of the stadium.
You Aussies are a bit blase about heat. There was one lady on BBC5 breakfast being interviewed on it and she was joking that you knew a WA person when their reply was "no worries, its dry heat.' They were cooking sausages on a car and had baked potatoes in foil under the bonnet on the engine for later on. The expat Brits being interviewed said they had all slimmed down since arriving with all the warm weather and big distances to move around.

They are fashionable but I'm starting to doubt the distressed look. Maybe just intact jeans. I might pull out the ultra stretch ones from Japan later.

Yes there are bush fires to the north of here, perhaps 80km away. The city is 200km from north to south. Plenty of smoke on the horizon which makes for big sunsets.
Knowing BBC5 the lady had a border collie snoozing in the background... TV and radio presenter, she is a good sort, we cross paths from time to time. Her pet joke is about "dry heat."
We have all cooked something on a car or a road at some stage. All the tradies have done the trick of potatoes or other hot food kept hot on the engine block or in a parked car. Word of warning though, it is not good for the paintwork, so cook it on foil. You have to look out on the streets and carpark so for cretins who leave pets or kids in cars as they go in to drop something off. Most people will smash a window to get them out, as will police and security.
Slimmed down Brit expats... I suppose so without seeing before and afters. Body types are body types but most people adjust metabolism after being in a climate for a while.

I have had an 'itch' that needed scratching all day. Finally thought to hell with it, I am going home to do something about it. Didn't take long, no romantic prelude to that one.

Sweet Mary and Joseph. The thoughts ruining through my head.

I can tell the weather has cooled
For a couple of days, its back up again on Christmas Day. Santa wears board shorts and his elves wear bikinis over here.
You have a seriously erotic way of posting.
That is real ball tingler 😁👍
Well it tingled up high and deep for me.
That's a juicy one. Pardon the pun.
Yes a bit creamy.
A toy to reach the spot. I like the stretched shirt trying to pop a couple of buttons.
The shirt was clearly designed for a small top. I'm not big by any stretch of the imagination but if you lean here or there it does have a bit of opening.
Sweet Mary and Joseph. The thoughts ruining through my head.
As long as its the thoughts and not the voices you are all good.
You mind if I clean that you and your toy up?
I may have left it there for him to find later on. Have to be careful with that lately though, the new dog has a habit of finding things and taking them to show everyone.

Where's the middle photo?😈
Lost somewhere....
DAMN!

YUMMY!
A man of few words
That is the best passion fruit there is.
Well my vine outside would probably like a shot at arguing that. I grabbed three this evening and scooped them on some icecream. It will all go to my tummy no doubt. I'll resume beach running on Boxing Day along with the rest of this city who keep it up until back to work in Jan.
