Republican counsel changes strategy, again
So, now, in the second round of questioning Sondland, the Republican counsel was apparently elbowed in the chest by someone about Sondland's argument that made a distinction between a Burisma investigation and a political investigation into the Bidens.
Lurching once again, but still building a strong case for Trump's obstruction of Congress.
This is just a train wreck, taking place in slow motion, in real time. Fascinating to watch the Republicans desperately try to form a coherent legal strategy on the fly.

Maybe you can shed light on where “a political investigation on the Bidens” was ever mentioned. Adam Schifty is renting space in your head and MSNBC, CNN along with you are just making shit up. The only investigations that were mentioned were concerning corruption, never political.

Sondland, a Trump appointee and firsthand participant, just confirmed - "Again, everyone was in the loop." - the quid pro quo and implicated Pompeo, Bolton, and Pence along with Trump (who for once, is listening to his handlers/advisors and keeping reticent), and you partisan boners want to talk about men's boners.

Not quite accurate, it's about Donald wanting to get to the bottom of what Hillary and Obama ATTEMPTED TO DO to the 2016 elections.
Not so fast.
Even if Mitch helps Donny get off the hook in the Senate, the Senators voting for acquittal will have to go on record as supporting the obstruction of subpoenas from Congress and holding back things of value in order to get personal political favors related to the U.S.A. presidential election.
And, Trump will be remembered in the same light as Andrew Johnson, as a President who was impeached in his first term. Loser.
