The Living Works of Art Challenge II - Female Body Edition

Thank you for the compliments, you're all too kind. It was fun to do. I'll do another if it feels right.

Tali - At the end of practice I'm dripping with sweat, exhausted and my heartrate is in the danger zone. Seeing you there might push up the heartrate and finish me off.;)

Mustang Sally, I had to do a lot of research/referencing in my former work, so I'm good at finding stuff if I have to.

This was harder than I expected. It's not quite the result I wanted. But maybe it's good enough.

You are so beautiful Sally,

These things are always harder than I expect, you did a beautiful job...there’s a peacefulness to it and I feel like a voyeur... I absolutely adore it, and if I passed this on my lunchtime art travels, I would genuinely be stopping to appreciate it properly,

Beautifully done Sally, you captured the pose and set the tone with the photo-editing. As for the "good enough" comment...I'll just say its exceptionally good and thank you for posting your rendition. :rose:

Wow, Tali. That is a strikingly good match.
Thank you so much Angelica :rose:, it's harder than it looks, I lost count how many I took because my left leg was blurry, I finally gave up and held onto the wall.
*insert tongue dragging gif*
hahaha, hey funny man!
I love it - gorgeous match, and I think it’s works with the flat shoes- conjures up something more real about it somehow,
Thanks Allia :rose:, I was hoping I didn't look like a shlub in those shoes.
Superb Tali.
Thank you Icy! :rose:
What a lovely pose, and the painting effect makes it more than worthy to hang in the gallery. Your shoes are forgiven. My thoughts are forbidden.
thank you glendale!
OMG, that is a fantastic reproduction, Tali!
Thank you Sally, nice to see you! :rose:
Uh, shoes? Yeah.

Both are terrific, but I can't get over that really great filter view.

Thanks for getting so creative!
Thanks TAN, I love the filter one too!
That is erotica. Magnificent. The lighting and recreation of the image with modern twists. The thought that went into that. I would clear space on a gallery wall for that.

Aww, thank you Pearly!

You are too kind and sweet, Allia.

Sally, that is an excellent copy. Missed seeing you.

Thank you, Todgy. You can still see me semi-regularly on TittyTuesday. 😀

Aw, thank you for these words and for all of your encouragement. (TN is the one who sent me here to check it out.)

'good enough' she says.......pfffftt, it's perfect! Allia was right, this is your kind of picture. You always take great pictures Sally, thank you!! :rose::heart:

Oh, thank you, Tali! I do think it's a good pic, objectively, but I'm also sure the source of my displeasure is obvious. Sigh!

Stunning.

You really nailed it. Thank you.

Thank you, TAN. You've also been wonderfully encouraging.

WOW! That's great! I like it a lot!
You have a very sexy body! :)

Thank you!

Sally😍! That’s amazing. I don’t know what you wanted but it looks perfect to me.

Thank you, icy. I guess what I wanted was fewer stomach rolls! 😂

For half a second I was really confused, as I thought that I had clicked a link to the original painting. Far more than good enough.

Aw, thank you, Angelica.

You'll have to forgive me about the shoes. I don't wear heels at all, so I don't own any to match the picture. I used the only ones that have even the slightest of heels to them.

With and without the painting filter. :)

Nice.

I like the shoe change. My first thought when I saw the original was, wait she is standing on one foot, that foot is in a pump, while bending forward...but but I want to live. And it still looks awesome without them

Perhaps not so dainty looking.

Very pretty

This was harder than I expected. It's not quite the result I wanted. But maybe it's good enough.

It looks great, but you really expected that to be easy.

Ha! Yes, actually, I did. And it was, technically speaking. I only took seven shots. Typically I'd take many, many more trying to get the pose perfect. I only stopped because I was overcome by my "body image issues" - that was the hard part - and planned not to share publicly. But a couple of kind folks and a bit of time brought me to a more accepting place. The end.

That is impressive, it takes me 6 just to get a picture of a server rack lol. I did not appreciate how hard it was to emulate a pose unril challenges here. Oh god, I remember a challenge that was to emulate one of Tink's pictures. It was laying down, how hard could it be, right. Um no. It was rather amusing to me though.

I’m so pleased you did stick with it and posted your photo. I’ve told you many times you have a beautiful body, nothing to be ashamed of or embarrassed about others seeing.

Wonderful, Icy!

I like both versions, Tali. I’m with you on the heels.

This was harder than I expected. It's not quite the result I wanted. But maybe it's good enough.

Well done, Sally!

May attempt to recreate a version of this when I get a mo... anyone fancy joining me?

Full length standing nude rolling up her stockings by Belgian artist Constant Eugene de Busschere (1876 - 1951)

Thanks for the new challenge, Allia. I always love it when this thread rises to the surface again.

I hope you get a moment SOON to add your rendition!

It's here: http://www.artinvest.asia/Smartcollections/ Ctrl F for "Const" will take you to the right image.

Thanks so much for adding a link to the art. I was getting nowhere searching. And good on ya for taking on the challenge.

Pretty sure I haven’t missed any of these since the thread began.
So I had to take a shot at it. No heels in my life...

A hand for the lady, please!

I like barefoot just fine. I applaud this addition, as well! What did you use for the handprints? A fine gesso?

Hello Mara, it’s good to see your beautiful body again, just as I remember it.

Greetings, Todger. This thread continues to suck me in...

Laughing... didn’t I get all the paint off? Oooops! Crayola Kids Washable painted on my fingers.
