I'm pissed off thirty seconds after logging in. That's a new record for me.

Also: just say you don't wanna talk any more. You don't have to suddenly stop responding.

and then there are those who just wont stop messaging to deliberately egg you or be insulting...through their lies.

they make lit such a horrible place.

Wow I slept at night time. *surprised Pikachu face*

Now, I’m about to set up my Beenie Baby room, play with my Furby and Tamagotchi, play some Pokemon, hit up my friends to do some coop Goldeneye on the N64, and really get crazy with some Surge listening to Kid Rock and Spice Girls.

On a serious note: Man, the 90s were dope as fuck! Those were some good times.

What a beautiful morning! Sunrise light bouncing off the snow. My heating pad warming my butt and feet. Sigh. To get out of bed for coffee or to lay here long. I like that those are not the most important questions I have to answer today.

The nostalgia is strong here today.

Maybe I'm just old, maybe I'm just too close to the whole #GameFreakLied (I was one of those helping it trend on Twitter), but I'm a bit irked with Pokémon right now.

In those days, there was no PC to access. We watched something called "Cable Television." There was no AdBlock for that!

Yeah, I watched some videos on the game and decided not to buy it.

If you don't have the original 3 starters, I'm not playing it.

They already jebaited me with Let's Go Eevee! And I gave them a pass because it was considered a spin off. But I'm not buying Sword/Shield.

I really want to play Animal Crossing though. OMG I have to wait until freaking MARCH. Gah!

I hope I never get so old that I stop trying to find out new things.

Well, you know, when you get older, your priorities narrow. For example, I will never feel the need to learn about Pokémon. There are things I feel that I don't have the time to know about.

I was given LG,E as a birthday present, as I would never have gotten it for myself (FR/LG were already the perfect remakes of G1 in my book). As a tie-in to Pokémon Go, it works just fine, I suppose.

I'm looking forward to AC, too. Interesting that THEY were allowed to delay the game to polish it, but GameFreak couldn't do the same thing. :D

And we had to a place called BlockBuster and pick a move to watch just based on the cover art. Those were hard times.

My mom and dad refused to take me to Blockbuster because they required credit cards to be on file.

So instead, my dad just bought me every video game I wanted. And I never had to wait until Christmas.

And I never really watched movies.

There are people double my age who love it, and people half my age who hate it. It's nothing to do with age or priorities, you just have no interest in it (which is fine, but trying to act as if you're more sophisticated than we are is just asinine).

Blockbuster and Hollywood video were the places to be on a Friday night!

Their movie/snack combo deals were the best

I still remember that one time we accidentally got given a porno instead of the film we'd actually rented.

My dad said it was an accident, anyway.

I spend much of my time driving a tractor and fixing plumbing. I don't feel that I'm more sophisticated than anyone. What I was trying to express was simply that I feel like I'm getting old, and that younger people now have too many distractions. I never catch any of them reading a book.

Honestly, I'm not a huge fan of Nintendo. I haven't put my Switch to good use since I bought it. At the time, I was really desperate to find games I liked and so I bought Let's Go Eevee. It was alright.

If you're a Nintendo fan, I probably just said the most blasphemous words ever... but I'm not into Mario, Zelda, Donkey Kong or many other Nintendo IPs. Just not my thing.

But Animal Crossing is different. I remember when I played Animal Crossing for the first time. It was so cool. The thought of having a game that had annual events and used the console's clock to simulate a living world.

I'm really hoping this new Animal Crossing rekindles that love I had for Nintendo long ago. I think it's very possible. If this game fails to deliver, I'm going to be really disappointed.

I only know this crap because of my kid or I would be right there with you.

I'm not either. In fact, until Breath of the Wild, I would've put Zelda as one of my most-hated franchises ever. I've often felt like people over the years have simply confused its unwieldy puzzles and obtuseness for cleverness and depth.

Growing up, I was always a Sega (and Sonic) gal. ;)
