There seems to be a lot of sarcasm and mocking (even though it is being done in a fairly lighthearted manner) aimed at one particular subculture here and I’m wondering what prompts it


Even when it’s done in an upbeat, playful way, at the end of the day you’re still mocking a group of people just because their proclivities don’t make sense or seem ridiculous to you. I have noticed that people have a lot of negative comments when someone is “judging” others or making fun of them ..except for this one subculture...curiouser and curiouser

I think we have all become more concerned about bodily scents in the last century or so as hygiene improved and the marketing of deodorants and other scent-masking agents kicked in.
