A - you really didn’t need to bother, I did my own crucifixion a couple of years ago for an Easter lit pic... I might repost it if I still have it.

B - I’m not sure how calling out the kiddie shit... or the fuckers making mean spirited comments on ampic’ers makes me a martyr... thanks to my fucked up catholic upbringing, I’m very familiar with martyrs. Trust me mother-fucker, the more likely outcome here is that is that I smash the fucking place to pieces... I have no intention of sacrificing myself for anyone here. No one is worth it.

As always if there are posts that are inflammatory or against forum guidelines you can report them or message me directly. I didn’t know that was still there. I reported that thread as soon as I spotted it (you know - being the martyr I am)- in fairness to lit, normally this stuff gets closed quickly. I’m surprised it’s still up.

Moderating these forums is done on a volunteer basis by longtime members of the community and the site owners. If you are frustrated or concerned about the level of moderation I recommend you reach out to Laurel and Manu directly and I’m sure they will answer any questions you have.

My personal philosophy is that most people are generally sane and interested in following the rules, so unless someone points something out to me, it may just slip by without moderation. We are all members of the same community. I have a full life which doesn’t allow me to read every thread and every post on the board. Moderators also have limited scope- for anything beyond editing posts/deleting threads, you need to go to Laurel and Manu. Additionally we don’t see ‘reported’ posts- if you hit the report button, those go to site admin. Unless you message me directly (or the moderator of a given forum) it’s up to Laurel and Manu to handle those.
