As I pressed myself against him, he wrapped me in his coat. We felt so close! I put my head on his shoulder and just enjoyed the good feelings.

I'm going to go with the obvious 'clean sheets' ... but for me it's the whole deal, clean cotton sheets (crisp), a lush feather duvet with a luxe (100% cotton) cover on it, the good pillows, the wool underlay ... I love a good bed. I'm pretty sure that's where most of my disposable income goes. And it's worth every cent.

Feeling my cat jump on the bed when I'm half asleep ... he's a large cat, and he sort of 'thuds' down against me to go to sleep. It's the nicest feeling.

The hug my offspring gives me when he hasn't seen me for a couple of weeks - no matter whether he's just gotten off a bus, or I've arrived at his dad's place, or I'm waiting to pick him up from school, the first thing he does is give me a long hug. I hate that I'm away from him for such long times, but that hug always makes me feel OK, like I'm still a good parent.
