First I want to say I care about 3 things --- comedy, movies, music.

I've seen hundreds of stand-up on TV, internet, and many live.... I don't want this just for me, so if everyone who wants to find more, list down your favorites, and maybe someone has good recommendations based on what you type?

I'll even rate mine in order

1. Mort Sahl
2. Bill Hicks
3. George Carlin
4. Louis CK
5. Bill Burr
6. Dick Gregory
7. Doug Stanhope
8. Mitch Hedberg
9. Dave Chappelle
10. Dov Davidoff

redd fox party records

definitely NOT david spade (one creepy, unfunny little tosser)

a couple of my faves were already mentioned so i'll just add james acaster and paul f tompkins.

Dylan Moran
Reginald D Hunter
Jo Brand (fuck you, she cracks me up)
Romesh Ranganathan
Rich Hall

Dylan Moran will always be my favourite.

Frankie Boyle was firmly at the top of my list until he started going soft. Now he's even been let back on the BBC!

Most of my favourites have already been mentioned, Chappelle, Burr, Hicks, Carlin.
For some UK talent I'd add Rowan Atkinson, Tim Vine, Sean Lock, Johnny Vegas, Billy Connolly and Milton Jones to name a few.

Can't stand Jo and Romesh though with Romesh it might be because he's never off the bloody TV. Love Reg, Rich and Dylan. Black books is one of my favourite comedy series.

I've recently started watching JoKoy. Really funny guy.

If you have Netflix, his new special "Comin in Hot" is hilarious, especially in the first half hour.

Black books is good, but his stand-up has me in stitches. I've been to see him twice, and would love to see him again.

I don't have a TV, the Romesh being prolific doesn't bother me.

Jo isn't fantastic live, but I grew up giggling through the cakehole.

Lately I enjoy Sebastian Maniscalco and Vic Dibitetto. Blame it on my status as a New Yorker. :)
