My knees are fine

I'd rather drive some of those roads than cycle them,
seriously, I regularly go out all over the wolds for work and they make my knees wince..:D

I find sitting behind a steering wheel is much easier on the legs as a whole :D

My cycling exploits have been restricted to the supposedly flatter roads to the North of the Wolds as they fall into the Humber... I probably should get out more often but as we know, the road to Hell is paved with such good intentions!

Morning all, a superb autumnal day in Yorkshire, garden and bike a must. The gently rolling lanes of the Vale of Mowbray - no, not that one - shouldn't be too testing, and I am seeking a new bike... the bike to work scheme is tempting isn't it!!

A quiet forum week.
Alice... If you drop by, I hope the Gt North Run doesn't disturb deserved rest, seems there a horde of runners up there somewhere today

🚴*♀️

Back to work tonight :( the 0400 alarm tomorrow is going to be a shock to the system.

Bloody hell. It lives!
(The thread, not GA)

Somebody gave it the kiss of life . . . me thinks peeps are too busy with coping with kids back at school, end of holidays and 99 shopping days to Christmas!

Though some of the more "naughty" boards are quite busy!

Morning all, a lovely autumnal week of travels around the UK, though I popped by here a few times it had indeed been very quiet (read morgue like)! Good to see it arising.... GA even honouring is with several words!!

Enjoy your weekends all,
Lx

how's things in fenland? ;)

'twas a great day yesterday, clear sky horizon to horizon, temperature got up into the high 20's by early afternoon.

Locals keep on inbreeding and visitors end up in snake and pigmey pies.

But it don't look promising today, although I must grudgingly admit that a little rain won't go amiss.

Why can't it just rain at night and be sunny during the day?

I might go to Sunday Service today and ask the Big Man the question.

Germany, where I come from. Visiting my parents.
