oh that is a big one. The biggest captured in florida was like 19feet and 125lbs. We have all sorts of not native animals loose in florida. Most blame "irresponsible" pet owners, but truth that is few and far between. Hurricane Andrew gets most of the credit. It destroyed a massive reptile farm, releasing 1000s of snakes, with a large amount being pythons. our capybara problem, same hurricane, different wildlife preserve, and it was just a couple in 1992. Same with most of the original monkeys. ok, well the rhesus monkeys are primarily due to a tourist destination creator who released just a couple of them on a small river island as a spot on the nature tour. They were unaware monkeys could swim. of course, once they all escaped, he bought more to add lol.

We have a lot of invasive animals though. really, most anything can survive. Maybe it can't thrive, but most everything can survive the climate.
