His wrongheaded ideas really aren't any different in amplitude from your ideas about institutional racism. Both can be supported by correlation. You're so certain about racial differences that you insist that the hue a person is born with is either a definitive advantage or disadvantage.

I wouldn’t say I’m afraid of it, but, racist, sexist, loathing (even if it’s self-loathing) is part of the problem. Especially if, as is increasingly the case, that view point is promoted in the media and political spheres.

The US civil war, contrary to what students are taught was not fought to "free the slaves," but it had that effect. Abolitionists were people of conscience that could not countenance enslaving other human beings. 600000 Americans died in the conflict most of them white and you got to figure a good half of them were on the union side.

White people passed civil rights legislation. White people gave blacks the right to vote and work really hard to keep the Democrats from disenfranchising blacks.

So why do you think it's okay to generalize about what white people do or don't fear? Why is it okay to generalize about white people at all??

The whole point of this exercise is to try to make sure that blacks never vote Republican and to try to get them mad enough to show up and vote in a non-presidential year. Even better still to show up and vote in the kind of numbers that they did when there was a black at the top of the ticket. None of that is happening as a result of all of this divisiveness that is being sown.

Democrats don't want racial harmony they want racial enmity and division so that they can exploit it, and frankly it's despicable.
