it was a throw away comment but, really, it's always the mothers get the blame even in jest. like a father has no input as to what is considered the right thing to do in certain situations. not all fathers are idiots or irresponsible. not all.... :rolleyes:

That's the attitude.
It's not necessarily about his criticism, it's about the intrusivenness.
I once had 'a friend' call my parents to ask their help about some choices I made, but mine dove straight in and asked all sorts of questions about my personal life. Never felt as naked or intruded upon in my entire life.
 
Imagine if our parents were told that we post on Lit., and read all the crap we posted or see the photos we uploaded here.... Worst nightmare lol

The baby had actually been discharged from hospital two days ago. He was brought back just so Trump could have a photo op.
