He hasn't got a mandate for anything. He was elected by less than 60,000 people. Overwhelmingly white, overwhelmingly male, overwhelmingly old, overwhelmingly in the SE of England. Cunt wants a mandate he should call a GE.

Our usual parliamentary term is 5 years. We had both one in 2015 and another in 2017, the vote for Boris was a leadership election. The mandate of the 2017 general election transfers to him because ours is a parliamentary system not presidential. I.e we vote for the party not the personality, and ALL parties agreed to respect the referendum result.

So in actual fact he has two mandates, the one from the GE and the one from the referendum, both specifically directing government to Brexit.
