In the U.S.A there is a clear legal position that people are viewed as innocent until they are proven guilty. Imagine what a much better world this would be if we could skip over the need for proof and just prosecute people anytime there is any accusation slung at them. Just think how much we would all benefit from living in a world like that. It would be wonderful. We had a good thing going at one time with the witch hunts and witch trials that did not require proof. But those wonder years have slipped away and now we can't destroy people just by accusing them of things. But don't despair! A large part of the population have very "progressing" ideas and they are spearheading the way to a legal landscape where once again a mere allegation is all it takes to get rid of anyone that we want to wipe out. The future looks bright now that these wise progressives see the flaw in the law and are working to correct it. Impeach! Impeach! Impeach!
That is a whole lot of words that are completely irrelevant in the court of public opinion. Not a darn thing has changed in that court. Nice try though.

Not true. It's a couple of decades too late but you even have the occasional Democrat lamenting the free pass Clinton was given for not only past sins but actual hostile workplace issues while serving as President in the oval office.
Its changed, in that Dems no longer get the free pass they have historically gotten. Now that the Democrats and their big donors are having their dirty laundry aired it's pretty clear which party has the most sexual abusers in it.

Let's talk actual political history. This was a huge deal with Clarence Thomas. Then it wasn't a big deal at all with Clinton.

So all that corporate training that I've been forced to sit through during the Thomas hearing era (that mysteriously abated during the Clinton impeachment hearings) then was back in full force was completely wrong. It *is* possible people on the powerless end of a power differential to give consent. Who knew?
So how does that work exactly you go ahead and do the same things any sexual harasser would do, to whoever you feel like it and is long as they accepted it was consensual ....so everything's cool? That's not really how hostile working environment was explained to me.
But since that's the standard that you're going to go with Trump pointing out that they quote let unquote him grab them by the pussy says that this was consensual. So there's no problem at all is there?

Good job trotting out the carefully focus grouped standard response that was specifically crafted for questions that would surely arise during Hillary Clinton run for president. She was running as the feminist candidate. It was time for a woman. Time for women to no longer be held down. Which was obviously at odds with her specifically attacking me to victims of her husband's. Not just standing idly by while Bill Clinton Abused women but actively working to tear down the character of those women.
If you look at the history of whataboutism being discussed or used it was almost non-existent until the Hillary campaign. The Hillary campaign had carefully focus group that phrase as a way to deflect criticism. It sure f****** work didn't it?
James Carville was a hundred percent right about his reasoning for why he chose to become a Democrat consultant even though he doesn't actually believe any of that s***. The reason he became a Democrat consultant is because you numbskulls are easier to persuade then the persuadable on the Republican side. There's hardcore that are unpersuadable on either side but the vast majority of democrat voters will believe any goddamn thing they're told to believe. It has to do with your propensity for agreeable in this. You want to agree so anything that sounds even moderately reasonable you agree with because you really don't have the capacity for independent thought and reason. That's why you're a Democrat.
