Anthem for a certain dynamic?

I heard a current pop song when I was out on the world somewhere when some bit of the lyrics caught my ear. I'm usually a 90s grunge and 70s classic rock with a twist of Prince and Outkast when I'm feeling funky kind of guy so this song wasn't my usual, but something about it tickled something in me. So later I checked out the video on youtube ans was like "oh well i guess I heard wrong" and almost closed it, but I was very glad and vindicated that I stuck around for the big payoff in the end.

Ummmm I don't believe you're correct here, or at least that's certainly not what I see in this mainstream MTV type video (if MTV still played videos), this isn't something from pornhub. I don't want to spoil here but I'm pretty sure the important parties are not family members.

I agree. I watched twice and then used Google for lyrics and her take on what her song is about.

The very first part, from just listening, is about admiration from a family member...but it just explains the other parts of the song. I enjoyed it.
