Anti trump protests in the uk

His attacks on the press. We might hate journalists, we might want to string them up if they break the law for the sake of gossip, but the freedom of journalists to shred politicians, regardless of political stance, is sacred. And the politicians aren't supposed to kick them out for being mean.

Rejected the nuclear agreement with Iran without consulting his allies; pulled out of Syria and Iraq without consulting his allies; postured ineffectively with North Korea; dismissed NATO and the UN as useless; started a trade war with China; interfered in UK's internal politics...

And more...

You do realize that the USA is a "sovereign nation" and doesn't need "permission" from any other nation to negotiate or reject treaties don't you?

The other signatory nations could have just kept on keeping on with Iran if they'd wanted to. The money was great and your investors were getting rich(er). The US pulling out of the deal would have made no difference in your dealings with Iran. And, if Iran was such a good nation to make deals with, then you don't need Trump's US anyway.

Right?

I think the last few sentences of the article says it all.

the British media establishment’s treatment of President Trump contrasts sharply with its attitude towards predecessor Barack Obama, who was treated with reverential deference even when he directly intervened in Britain’s referendum on the European Union to threaten the country would be sent to “the back of the queue” for a trade deal after Brexit — allegedly at the behest of David Cameron.

The support was RACIST, only supported him cause he was BLACK

Wow, at the lack of replies to my posts this am, I thought I was on everyone's iggy list, even yours.

Silly me.

Sorry, Bub:)

the lack of response is cause

you make sense

:D

When their hypocrisy is this obvious, they're silent until they can think of a way to cover, deflect, or blame someone else for it.

Usually this takes a few weeks. In the meantime they riot and protest. It's no wonder their leaders think they're children and treat them that way; they ACT like children.

No, it must be a personal issue you have with Trump.

Ish said so. :D

That's pretty funny.

Honestly, he really is that hated here. And, in all honesty, I don't think it's all about politics. The despots and dictators get protests, but few of them attract as much mockery and loathing as trump. I think it's a cultural thing, like how evangelical preachers are popular there. You like loud people who big things up. In our culture, that's vulgar and distasteful. That's why we want our vicars drive rusty Micra's and speak quietly and drink tea. So, yeah, it's probably only 90% about politics.

It was reported here this morning there were thousands on the streets of London today "but nothing like the size it was last year." Personally, I don't remember how big they were in the past. The parts of the news conference I saw this morning with May seemed to be quite amicable, as the two seemed to get on quite nicely, not as strained as the last one I saw.

The US and the UK are sovereign nations and allies. Unilaterally rejecting treaties made in conjunction with your allies without consultation or warning is a way to piss off your friends.

Iran is dangerous. The nuclear agreement was a multi-national attempt to mitigate the danger. The treaty wasn't ideal but was better than nothing.

As for the Paris accord on climate change? President Trump's rejection pissed off almost every other country in the world.

Brexit comments. Boooo! Hisssss!
It didn't matter what side you were on, he was out of line.

Obama also said your country would have to go to the back of the line. He really wanted to say "the back of the bus."

The previous one was colossal.
This time? Well... who buys popcorn to watch a rerun?
I like seeing people expressing their democratic rights to protest, and doing it with humour. I don't like seeing intimidation and violence.

Come on Ogg. The allies were consulted, they were opposed, tough shit. Obama used a technicality to circumvent the senate, and the constitution, to enter into the Iranian deal to begin with.

N. Korea is on ongoing process. Aren't you a little old to be into instant gratification?

Fuck China. They've reneged on every damn deal they agreed to.

Hmmm, wasn't Obama the first to shoot off his mouth about Brexit? Regardless you do have a point. Why don't you start a long, drawn out, anal investigation of anyone, and everyone, that has had anything to do with Trump? Oh, and indict Obama and Trump while your at it. Maybe our congress with pick up on that and impeach Trump for interfering in your elections. That should work out well for all concerned.

When your "allies" act more like your "enemies" sometimes you gotta tell 'em to go piss up a rope.

No one forced the UK/France/et al to leave the Iran treaty when Trump pulled the US out of it. You pay your money and buy your own ticket. That Trump (and the US) jumped off your boat ride across The River Styx should be irrelevant to whether you get to continue with your evening cruise.

But you didn't. Instead you jumped on our coattails (again!) and watched your economies restart while Iran loses power and influence. We saved your asses AGAIN and all you can do is protest in the streets about how we're the bad guys.

I'd mention something about ungrateful bastards but THAT should be obvious to almost anyone. So I'll skip it.

Well... Sometimes violence amuses me. But I feel bad about it afterwards, which makes that ok.

that agreement FORCES the US to pay tens of billions and exempted China and Russia and Indai for 2 decades and had SHIT TO DO WITH GW (which is a HOAX)
