Anti trump protests in the uk

You know what would never happen in the United States? Massive protests against your Prime Minister.

Americans barely have any idea at any given time who that is for you. It makes no practical difference to us or the world who your leader is.

British "protesting" has zero effect on our election cycles by the way but good job putting in a lot of effort for nothing of any consequence. If Americans notice at all, it will help drive enthusiasm for Trump from his already strong support from those with nationalist sentiments. You know, what with people in Britain not being part of our nation or at all concerned about those policies that benefit America, as they see it.

It isn't as if anyone in Great Britain has any independent insight into who Trump is or what his policies entail other than as they are framed by the anti-trump wing of the American media establishment.

No one in recent memory is able to use the opposition as an effective foil as Trump, so I see this as helpful.

Oh, q, I know this might be hard to hear but... It's not about you! It's not an attempt to influence the American voter.

The unhinged left here is quite enthused about what they see as support for their so-called resistance.

So why not spend the energy protesting any of the various failings of your own government? Just transference, is it?

These people see dealing with trump, and sucking up to trump, as a failure of their own government. Several right wing politicians, mostly retired politicians (for obvious reasons), have stated the same.

There are plenty of failed politicians on the right here who also express their distaste for Trump as way of covering their shame of ineffectual governance. They are jealous that he has at least some meager progress on conservative issues.

Trump is a boor, a buffoon and already a cartoon, so lampooning him seems rather pointless to me.

Politically, I would never have thought that I would applaud anything that Trump ever did because I assumed he would govern far more to left than he has. He is so pleasantly surprised me on a number of issues that I'm more than willing to overlook the fact that he is without a doubt an embarrassment on an interpersonal skills level.

I'm sure that Butters is 100% right that the gift of a book was a really clever, British barb, that will fly right over his head. Even if you explained it to him.

The reality is that Bluster aside Britain has far more to lose here. Currying his favor means far more to Britain than anything Britain could possibly do to punish your politicians who attempt to make the best of it.

Part of the problem with us Americans grasping what's going on with your politics is that your politics are so needlessly complicatedn, and ours are so ridiculously over simplified.

Your parliamentary system and the need to form a government from variance factions just looks like a mess to us, and ours which easilly devolves to binary choices is by design easily gridlocked.

Did you see the bit about how hated Trump is in the UK? The black man was much more respected and admired than the pasty orange turd. #loser

You don't believe in God, BettyPoop/CarnalFlower/BadBabysitter

They call him "The black man" in the UK? I would have thought that they would at least know his name over there. He was all historic, and everything.

How many Electoral College votes does the UK get?

Whoa three alts. I knew it was badbabysitter when it couldn't help but spam "sperm magic" at all of my posts. Lefties trying to skew the numbers as usual.

Everything is about race with CF....and all the other lefties.

It's a fetish with her. Her babdbabysitter persona has an imaginary, wittol, Canadian, black husband who eagerly shares her with her imaginary boyfriend, the only other black dude in her entire province.

She has four just on the GB. I can't think of the fourth at the moment. Who knows how many she uses to troll the other boards for pics from dudes pretending to be lesbians. She leads a complicated life on the boards.

If you look at her non GB post you would swear that she's a dude pretending to be a chick but her inability to compose a logical thought seems to confirm her gender.

I saw an interview with a British journalist who said the anti-Trump demonstrators were bought and paid for, not spontaneous.

LOL...

That's pretty funny.

Honestly, he really is that hated here. And, in all honesty, I don't think it's all about politics. The despots and dictators get protests, but few of them attract as much mockery and loathing as trump. I think it's a cultural thing, like how evangelical preachers are popular there. You like loud people who big things up. In our culture, that's vulgar and distasteful. That's why we want our vicars drive rusty Micra's and speak quietly and drink tea. So, yeah, it's probably only 90% about politics.

And also, how can I get in on this lucrative paid protesting racket?

I suspect that the journalist was paid to say that the protesters were paid. You should get in on that racket.

Any country dumb enough to still have a king has a lot of nerve protesting anything political. :)
