Three positives from your day

1. Last load is in the dryer

2. The soup I made in the Instant Pot is STILL yummy

3. The grilled cheese sandwich I made and cut up to dip into the soup made me smile...

I need more than just 3 to describe this day

It's been great

1. I'm still alive

2. Still laughing

3. My Cat's crazier than me. (I think). :cattail:

1. Last day of work for a little while.
2. A gift. Touched my heart.
3. Getting my room put back together so I can sleep there for the first time in 2 months. :D

Bonus #4... my boy is here with me and will see me through tomorrow.

Hope you feel much better soon, Honey. :rose::heart:

Thanks!

I've learnt that sleeping as much as possible cuts way down on my recovery time, so for 2 or 3 days my routine looks like this:

Wake, toilet, eat a bite, meds, s-l-e-e-e-p
Wake, toilet, eat a bite, meds, s-l-e-e-e-p
Etc., about four times a day.

I think being completely out of commission for a couple of days is much better than trying to soldier on and feeling like death the whole time.

I’m glad to live in a time and place where we have the privilege to feel bored at work, and able to easily move on, if decided. (My job move almost two months ago was a game changer, and hopefully the next move when it comes will be even better!)

Earlier shift today, leading into days off! It’s not every week I get that :D

Options. Although I haven’t yet made the decisions, I am so very appreciative to have options that I didn’t realise I had :rose:

having a little money to be able to pick up a few groceries this morning

the newest medical equipment in will be headed to veterans down south of here.

An old friend decided to come visit over July 4th holiday. First time anyone has come to visit in many, many years

I'm really glad this thread is active :)

Never stop finding the positives in every day.

Wishing you all good health and happiness

I agree ^^^

I was thinking today for some reason that focussing on positive things is very life-affirming. Which is not to say that problems should be ignored or issues left untackled, but identifying and acknowledging the good stuff is A Good Thing.

On which note:

1) It's Friday, hurrah
2) France is beckoning
3) My car is all sparkly clean and I didn't have to do it myself

1. Getting to sleep in.
2. Lace and glitter
3. Finishing some home projects.

It's only 11:30! Where's my tiara?
