Numi's boudoir

Wow, what a difference there is between the original and photoshopped paintings. The waify versions just don't look right. People who looked like that at the time the paintings were made were probably considered to look malnourished and unattractive.

Malnourished probably still applies to some modern waify models, if what you read is right. Way under a sensible BMI. And I know that can be skewed by muscle (the Jonah Lomu counter-example!), but still, the pressure on those girls to be all skin and bone is terrible. And to me, it does look unattractive.

Dropping off some hugs for Numi...AND love...:heart:

Hey, BC! How are you enjoying your new location? Is it still really humid? Humid makes my hair go really frizzy. It's like it's been zuzhed up by some overzealous blow-drier. And not in a good way

:rose: Sorry for my absence...

I've been a bit absent myself

People will talk... ;) :)

It's so lovely to have you around, Lord Dark. I'm completely confused about how our time zones are currently aligned, especially with you working nights, but I'm always delighted to see you here, or anywhere on the threads

A lot of the really lean, toned look in contemporary models is derived from some serious, targeted gym time with trainers and a rigid nutrition program. Oh yeah...and in some cases very pricy cosmetic surgery. That and youth but the long term health effects should prove interesting. I much prefer the body norms of some generations back. Those were more of a reality.

And now, to counteract the serious-ish stuff, a cross-post, because this reallly made me laugh when he did it:

LOL...This was great!!! Excellent ribald humor at its best. :D

There is a school of thought that being well underweight will actually make you live way longer, and the science seems to back that up [citation needed.... :)]. But if you're always hungry.... That wouldn't suit me at all!

I think all hotels should do this.

I've read some of that on the benefits of being thin or underweight, but I think there's a margin on that where it becomes unhealthy. And yes you are correct, constant hunger is a reality.

You and yours have stayed in some beautiful places for certain.

This looks much more interesting than finding a chocolate mint on your pillow. So, is it all edible?

I would that they would talk ;)

I am glad to be back, although I am still finding my way. There are a handful of people I love chatting with, you and Lord H included. It's navigating the minefield that sometimes develops here that makes me pause. I only I was a rich nobleman, with a country estate to which I could retire, to eat, drink and be merry :)

One soft kiss and a smile

I really like you thread, your writings (especially the on about face sitting) and your picture with the corset. I'm a fan!

Boudoir

n. A private sitting room, dressing room, or bedroom, especially one belonging to a woman.

adj. Of, relating to, or suggestive of sexual intimacy

Come and chat, play, read my ramblings on various filthy topics (the 'Numi Sutra'), or just look at the pictures...

Here's an advisory on the dress code:

This is my second boudoir. I wore the other one out  It's still here, with sheets over the furniture :) If you take a torch you can still see the pictures, and browse through volume one of my ramblings (the 'Numi Sutra').

Hi sweetie...Yes, I just adore it here...it is amazing being here...so darn hot and tooooooooo humid...!!!

Not many a good hair day if any :D...but on the other side, the humidity is good for my skin...

Big hug...Love you and H...

I've been very lucky. Well, I worked bloody hard in my career days, but I was lucky that my chosen profession was one of the well remunerated ones. And the older I get, the more I'm convinced I want to spend time and resources on making memories of experiencing the world, rather than acquiring stuff.

Except sex toys, of course... ;)

In inspiration form, oh yes.

Originally it was abstract arty swirls. But I like his version better :D And as you say, much more fun than a pillow chocolate

The ball on the left is a bit larger. Perhaps it should be looked at

*raises hand*

Wait... Is that not normal? :D

I didn't know it was a self-portrait

If one's hung low than wouldn't it lay that was as well???

I'll check. Much observation will be needed. From different angles...

I dunno, but I know it shouldn’t look like a club foot

I'm not going to be looking at the feet...

Well thank you very much, Jim  Welcome!

I have a new rambling in the works, as it happens. There are no corsets (too hot), and face-sitting didn't feature, but...

Well, wait and see...

It's all too easy to tread on a mine here, you're right. But you are much loved here, and with good reason.

Of course you could always become the sexual plaything of a rich noblewoman. Just saying... ;)

(If only I was a rich noblewoman with a country estate etc etc. :D)

I'm struggling with the humidity here too, although it's better today #firstworldproblems

I'm so glad you're enjoying it - you're so adaptable, I seriously admire that so much in you

I've just found out that there is a curlew local to here. Numenius tahitiensis. That's me just now

It translates as 'bristle-thighed curlew'. Less attractive. And I should make it clear that I have been keeping up with all my personal maintenance... :)

To many people spend their lives planning to travel once they retire only to have waited to late. It's important to do so while you are still healthy and in good physical condition. I'm delighted to see the two of you enjoying yourselves.

I think we should have a pick a sex toy for Numi survey and have you provide an after action analysis of its effectiveness and quality. ;)

This thought actually has been running thru my brain...I'm sure there is a story there if I put my mind to it...;) :rose:
