Numi's boudoir

This was the original of my 'interloper classical breasts', and a vaguely filtered version. I can't remember exactly what I did!

Some of those Prizma filters are very cool. I liked this one. Not so much this one, though - it has given me a very alarming skin condition

You've achieved some nice effects using filters on your pics, and some bizarre ones as well. I've gotten some good results using Topaz Impression on landscapes. However, I haven't tried it on any nudes yet.

I forgot about the 'casual semi' pics!

Here they are, with a lady and a more full-on representation.

I just love the unfettered nature of all this. And with the semis, I think also because it puts me in mind of that 'early' part of a session, or before even, when things are just stirring, it's all still to come. :)

Ha ha, these works are very expressive in terms of their facial expressions and, um, body language. And I'm sure that you're not the only one who's gazed at them and thought about what's still to come.

Beautiful pictures and using filters is always interesting. I really need to upgrade to a better photo editor but I've been experimenting with open source ones. The current trend of subscription fees for software irks me so I avoid it.

I think 'achieved' is overstating my contribution somewhat!

I haven't heard of Topaz Impression. Is that PC, Mac, iOS? Feel free to try it on my interloper breasts if you need some raw material for experimentation... ;)

I'd love to know what was in the mind of the carvers. Whether they are deliberately depicting the bodies in a freely sexual way, or whether they are just so comfortable with everyday nudity that it doesn't occur to them. Also, the summer here is lovely and warm, so everything is naturally relaxed ;)

It's the anticipation of a semi that I particularly like. I came across this post by Lunation (much missed... :() the other day. His second post describes it perfectly:

He’s at that halfway hard point. He’s been thinking about sex, but he hasn’t been touched. How many licks would it take to get him fully upright. And from there how many licks would it take to make him beg for the rest of my mouth?

Science must be done.

Thank you! There are a lot of free iOS ones. Often you get some for free and can pay for more. As a former software developer I do understand the need for revenue from your work, but I think that's a good model, not too greedy.

(Did you like the Adventures of TinMan? :))

I did indeed, a kindred adventure googling at you brought a smile to my face. ;)

Trying a few things with your breasts would be fun. :) Here's a classical oil on canvas and a Renoir inspired impressionistic painting, both using Topaz:

Topaz Impression can be used as either a standalone app for a PC or Mac, or as a Photoshop plugin.

Yes, whereas many classical artists tend to be minimalists when it comes to depicting the male member, your carvers certainly don't hold back. Nor does the pic posted by Lunation. It's a very erotic pose and would probably make a good painting too.

:D  That's good to hear!

You guys just put your clocks forward, I think? Seems very early, is it always that early? We don't do it at home for another couple of weeks, I think. I hate the 'going forward' one :( I shan't have to do it this year, of course :)

Oh, very good. I like the Renoir, particularly. Did he paint nudes ever? I was thinking he was the 'Bar at the Folies Bergeres' artist, but that's not right. I've a feeling I saw a Renoir exhibition somewhere recently, but I can't bring any of his stuff to mind

It's gorgeous, isn't it, that photo... Full of anticipation. And Luna's words really brought it to life for me. Which was kind of the subject of what he wrote

I think I read somewhere that the fashion was for the smallest cock possible in models for classical sculpture. Not to be a size queen (well, maybe a bit ), that wouldn't be my preference at all :D

Ah!!! Daylight Savings Time. Yep, unfortunately we do that thing and as much as so many people hate it I don't foresee its discontinuation.

I hope your world adventuring has involved much more pleasant winter weather that I've had here. Will the two of you settle in for retirement in G.B or possibly relocate to another location?

Yes, he did paint nudes. Some of his nudes were quite voluptuous.

We're pretty settled in the UK, I wouldn't see us relocating. There will certainly be lots more travelling, though, in the UK, in Europe (if they let us ) and further afield. I met a lovely man yesterday who had been diagnosed with MND (ALS) fourteen months ago, and had spent the last twelve travelling with his wife while he could still do it comfortably. Concentrates the mind somewhat.

Hehe, yes there's always that DST debate at home too. I think it affects people at the extreme north and south of the country the most, I know the very north of Scotland experiences weird dark/light times of day because of it. I was once overnighting in Inverness in the summer and it barely got dark at all.

It's been lovely having another summer here after the one at home (and before the next one when I get home!). I love winter, though, I love the romantic (and filthy) evenings by the log fire. The much-treasured 'wine-sex-wine' tradition of a Friday will have to take place upstairs when we get home, sadly, as it will be daylight at 5pm, and we have no net curtains

(That's a novel of a post, sorry! :D)

I've looked him up now, gosh yes they were, weren't they.

On that subject I came across this article a few days ago. It's about famous paintings if they had been depicting modern 'waify' models, rather than real women. For example:

and

There are more in the article, but I thought it was fascinating, and the paintings much poorer for the stick-thinness...

Wow, what a difference there is between the original and photoshopped paintings. The waify versions just don't look right. People who looked like that at the time the paintings were made were probably considered to look malnourished and unattractive.

Yeah, the originals are much better.

I agree, they look like real women, not some unattainable, and probably airbrushed image of androgyny.

I like my body much better when I'm in control of my weight, but I absolutely don't aspire to be a bony twiglet!
