███████████ Mueller Investigation Results Thread ███████████

These fucks were too dumb to realize the 25th can only be used if the President is incapacitated. It is not a replacement for the impeachment process. In addition it doesn't matter who or how many cabinet officers agree, it can't proceed with the blessing of the Vice President and I don't see Pence signing onto that bit of a coup d'état.

Clearly a president that is compromised by a hostile foreign power is incapacitated and unable to discharge the powers and duties of his office. Equally as clear is that this is separate and distinct from a process to remove a president for crimes.

As to Pence, he would be too busy using invasive big government to force people to live their lives according to his interpretation of the bible to do anything meaningful with his life.

Clearly you have no idea what you're talking about as to the Constitution, the 25th Amendment, or the law.

Intimidation, Pressure and Humiliation: Inside Trump’s Two-Year War on the Investigations Encircling Him

WASHINGTON — As federal prosecutors in Manhattan gathered evidence late last year about President Trump’s role in silencing women with hush payments during the 2016 campaign, Mr. Trump called Matthew G. Whitaker, his newly installed attorney general, with a question. He asked whether Geoffrey S. Berman, the United States attorney for the Southern District of New York and a Trump ally, could be put in charge of the widening investigation, according to several American officials with direct knowledge of the call.

Mr. Whitaker, who had privately told associates that part of his role at the Justice Department was to “jump on a grenade” for the president, knew he could not put Mr. Berman in charge because Mr. Berman had already recused himself from the investigation. The president soon soured on Mr. Whitaker, as he often does with his aides, and complained about his inability to pull levers at the Justice Department that could make the president’s many legal problems go away.

Reports say Robert Mueller could conclude his Trump-Russia investigation next week

NBC and CNN

Could special counsel Robert Mueller’s investigation at last be reaching its conclusion?

According to reports from NBC News and CNN, the answer is yes. Both outlets reported this week that the special counsel could submit his final report to the attorney general as soon as next week.

These reports have been met with a torrent of skepticism from Mueller watchers on social media, and even fears of interference from Trump appointees at the Justice Department, such as Attorney General Bill Barr. And given President Trump’s past efforts to interfere with the investigation, and Mueller’s own secrecy about his plan, some caution is certainly warranted for these reports.

After his report is filed, we'll have the long, drawn-out fight for how much of it will be made public. That inevitably will end with the media getting hold of the full document and publishing it for all to see--and then there will be the wait to see if/when the House of Representatives will start a removal process (which will run into the 2020 elections, with Trump only getting 29 percent of the vote there).

LMAO. According to McCabe it was Trump's constant attacks on the Probe which led to a counter intelligence investigation. And his comments to Lester Holt. What a moron.

I can hear it now when nothing comes of the Mueller report: "If only Pete, Lisa, and Andy were looking into this totally legitimate 'matter' we'd get to the real truth!!"

There is no interference from Barr he's the AG. Mueller is required to submit confidential report to the AG on his findings. Mueller works for the AG. It's up to the AG how much if any of the report is to be released to the Congress. These are the rules for the Special Counsel set down by Janet Reno, and Eric Holder when they were trying to constrain Ken Starr.

What interference has there actually been? Even the president of the United States has answered questions.

Lol.. Sure he did. Actually, his attorneys took Cheetolinis crayon written, misspelled gibberish and translated them into English...then swapped out the outright lies to half truths and fixed the grammar.

They knew better than to let him do that in person. Hell, even Hilary which all the rwcj hate, spend all day in front of the Benghazi bunch and testified...she's smarter and has bigger balls than Trump...and if she is a liar, as the kool-aid drinkers proclaim...she's a helluva lot better at it than he is.

Hand picked by Trump.. Nothing to see there, hmm?

I hope he does the right thing.. It'll be nice to see someone not suck on trumps balls for a change...like you do constantly.

Non partisan question:

When the report is released, is there a pool on who blows the biggest load?

The Tangerine Shitstain should be very scared.

Mueller really likes to drop huge bombshells when the Pr*sident is out of the country and next week he's going to Vietnam while every indication is something's coming from Mueller. Time for popcorn.

Justice Dept. official: Mueller report not expected next week

By Laura Jarrett and Caroline Kelly, CNN

Washington (CNN) — Special counsel Robert Mueller is not expected to deliver his report on the investigation into Russian meddling in the 2016 presidential election next week, a Justice Department official briefed on the plans told CNN.

As CNN has previously reported, the precise timing of the announcement has been a moving target, but Justice officials are cognizant of President Donald Trump's upcoming summit with North Korean leader Kim Jong Un in Vietnam next week, which could play a role in the report's timing. Trump said Wednesday that it's "totally up to Bill Barr" whether Mueller's report comes out while he is overseas next week.

Yeah, it's hard to report on nothing.

At that time, Hilly was a former sec. of state and former senator. I believe she had no official status then. And she was and is a notorious liar, even about trivial matters. As for Benghazi I remember seeing her waving her arms around and asking "Who cares?"
