Voters in EVERY election lose when their candidates don't win office. That doesn't mean they've been "dismissed'. It means their preferred candidate lost. Their votes still counted. Their voices were heard. They just didn't win the election because rules.

What you want is to say that because your preferred candidate lost, somehow that's an affront and an attack on you personally by the winning candidate's supporters.

He did not win a majority, or even a plurality, of votes. Most voters did not choose Trump.

First of all the majority of Americans barely voted. Secondly of those that bothered to vote the majority of those did not vote for Hillary either.
